Great College for your UG program

What I Liked

I like my college lab facilities very much. There are multiple labs with High Spec computers with RTX 4080 GPU's for AI model training and other graphical designing processes which require high computational power. They allow us to access the lab anytime, even during during after hours and holidays for project works and for improving our skills. They are all Air Conditioned and monitored well for any defects and faults with separate lab assistants for every lab.
The Auditorium which is named CC Hall is very spacious and can accommodate all the students at a time. All the big cultural and gatherings are held there. I have mny good memories of my college life at that venue.
There are separate seminar halls for every department in our college which are air-conditioned and well maintained which can accommodate nearly 250 students at a time.

What I didn’t like

our college campus have a problem which i hate is that is a habitat for hundreds of pigeons and their droppings causes a nasty smell on particular places here. But the management is taking necessary steps recently to move them from the campus without killing them.
Some of the labs are not air-conditioned and is very difficult to attend lab sessions during summer seasons due to heat.
The classrooms are also not air-conditioned anywhere which makes it difficult to occupy them.

Placement Experience:

There are about 120 prominent companies sting our campus for placement every year. we also have records of placement like 51 LPA and 47 LPA of packages offered for our students of 2024 batch by Microsoft and Amazon and multiple 20 LPA packages by Juspay and other companies. Our college have a strong placement training team which have connections with many other training academies to train us for good placements with reasonable packages, as a second year student I have experiences of interviews for internships which was referred by my department HOD. If you are strong in technical skills on a specific domain and have decent academic score of above 7.5 CGPA with no arrears you can easily get placed in a good company in campus placement. They also help us to attend off campus placement.

Remarks:

I chose this college as it had strong history of placements and skill based teaching for students, I came to know about this college through my cousins who have studied here. I have secured 93.5% marks in my 12th board exams, so I was offered 100% fee concession through AVS Scholarship. I had to choose this college in First round of Counselling for availing this offer. There is no entrance exams for this college ,you just had to go through the counselling process provided by the Department of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu Government.

The review of Dr.MCET

What I Liked

Everything is good. Facilities are good in their jobs. Need some development in infrastructure but they are into it already.
They used to conduct events like Varnam which has both technical and non technical events.

What I didn’t like

The cafeteria definitely need a glow up! It's not good. They have to refurbish it.
The auditorium need some upgrade too. It's good but still need some few good upgrades.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. They help you find internships. I'm currently in 2nd year of my course. I don't have a good idea about the placement and internship. But I'm sure they help you place in a company.

Remarks:

This college offers better coaching than any other in the surroundings. Very famous around here. Also the fees are reasonable. I'm a government quota student and i got seat in it with 73.2% marks in board. It's better to join via government counseling.

A real look at mcet

What I Liked

There is a well equiped library sections in our college such as journerl sections, insudtry view and E- libraries in our college
The labs in our college are well equipped and there is a seperate lab incharges for each lab.

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure of some of the blocks in our collegs is seems like a old buildings
The cafeteria place is not good and the taste of snacks in the cafeteria is average.

Placement Experience:

In IT stream two of my seniors got placed in top MNC companies with stipend 1.5 lakhs. The top recruiting companies of our college are zoho,tcs,wipro and capgemini. The overall placement percentage is quite good.

Remarks:

The admission process of the college is based on tha cut off of your HSE +2 marks. The eligible cut off marks is 150+ for minimum level course for general catagory students. There is no gd or written test to join our collge.

BEST OF OUR COLLEGE MCET

What I Liked

I like the most important thing in our college is that infrastructure and lab facilities?
And their services provide the best for practice in our college

What I didn’t like

About campus for the control students that they do not come here and there in the canteen is
And the time of time was very tough during the placement time. It was tough to award of the college. We end up college 7:30 PM.

Placement Experience:

The job opportunities attending to our colleges was like it was quite difficult to placing on city domain of campus, but in on campus, the colleges provided up to 4 to 5 dedicated to cyber city department

Remarks:

I have choose this college by it was near to my home this was the main reason ro choose the college and the second reason to choose this colleges at this was the only college and have a cyber. The course has a career and the fees expenditure was very low compare to other colleges and it was near to my home and it has several facilities will be compared to the colleges like Sri Krishna faces. This was the main reason to join this college and I have a personally attachment

College Review

What I Liked

Faculty is average. Some expectationly talented faulty are working inside the college.
College infrastructure is good. Apart from the college infrastructure.

What I didn’t like

Two out 10 expectationly talented staffs only working
The infrastructure is good in the college. They have mixed with polytechnic building and school ground.

Placement Experience:

Placement are good. Companies never ask you arrears but the college doesn't allow arrear students into the placement. They have placement cell. They haven't provided any GD or other activities to improve our skills

Remarks:

No GD or written exam for choosing this college. The good aspect is they allow the hostel boys till 10pm outside the college. They will not conduct any interacting program with other colleges. The college ground is connected to school ground.

A Life at MCET

What I Liked

The faculties in the department I’ve chosen are good and the freedom the give to the student is greatly appreciated. There are many kind of extracurricular activities that are conducted after the college hours.
There are many clubs inside the campus each contributing their part and students can join the clubs they are interested and give their contribution too and a student can involved in any club activity as per their preferences

What I didn’t like

The college has a canteen where the food is average and could be much better and served better, but though they only provide a limited menu and the taste could be much better. And the cost around the canteen is higher compared to the bakeries and restaurants outside the campus where the tastes are much better.
The main thing to note for students eating non vegetation is that the college campus is a purely vegetarian campus and non vegetarian isn’t provided inside the camps, if though you need to consume any meat you might be able to get outside the campus.

Placement Experience:

The college offers good placements to students and the training starts from the second year of academic itself. The eligibility criteria for attending placements are no standing arrear. There are top companies like Zoho, MEDA, TCS, soliton, caresoft etc who are recruiting students each year at a good package. The average starting packages ranges from 2.5 LPA to 8.5 LPA.

Remarks:

The college was selected by my parents who made the choice in selecting the appropriate college and I didn’t go through any kind interviews or test factors to join the institute since I had a good results at school.

What I Liked

College infrastructure is very good and nice and faculties are very friendly and kind
Campus life is incomplete without friends

What I didn’t like

Should give more importance to the sports
Should give more practical tasks than theoritical

Placement Experience:

Eligibility criteria for placement is based on the company that we appeared for and in the CSE dept most 90% of the placement will be done. The average package is 3LPA and the highest is 11LPA. My plan is placements.

Remarks:

The good aspects of the college are the environment, infrastructure, and facilities and the negative one is not paying more attention to extracurricular activities. The admission process of the college is govt counseling and admission through management quota

Placement Experience:

The college holds a record of 99% placement of students for the past 5 years. Many MNCs such as ZOHO, Capgemini, hero, TVS, Infosys, and Accenture come for recruitment. The college also offers placement training to students depending on the job domain preferred by the students.

Remarks:

The college has a good environment with a well-built infrastructure. The education system in this college mainly focuses on boosting innovation and fostering young minds. They help students to level up for their future careers and empower students with the latest knowledge of technology. The management is very supportive and is student student-centric system. The college also has received a NAAC A++ certificate for three consecutive years.

Being proud for MCET

What I Liked

Extraordinary climate and fabulous infrastructure
Skillful faculty and enough facilities in campus to live life

What I didn’t like

Sometimes the faculty treat like u as a school student.
There is Saturday holiday with compensation.

Placement Experience:

During the beginning of third year, College conduct placement training with skillful staffs and the end of the third year the companies will recruit the students.If we not interested in placement we can move on with higher studies in there.

Remarks:

I joined this college because of the college location.It is located in Pollachi.I had this college from TN Engineering Councelling.Best Thing is Climate, Infrastructure, Classroom.Worst thing is there is some regulations for dress code.Lab uniform will be given to students.It look and feel like school student.Sometimes they will treat like as school students.Its best for studying and every month they conduct culturals which is good.There is no entry exams for admission.
