Tech branches are new and have very less opportunities for campus placement but chemical and petroleum branches have good placement opportunities in various PSUs. But for tech branches there is still time for placement scenario to improve.

In my college this is no placement offers for tech peoples there is only companies coming for petroleum and chemical branches my chemical seniors got the placements their got 24 lpa and 18 lpa and and when we come to internships this is good for the all branches

Placements and internships in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology are good but here tech branches are new so no data are available for tech placement but in chemical and Petroleum department almost every student gets placement here from psu and others choose higher studies.

If you are opting chemical or petro then you just have to maintain your cpi and you'll get a campus placement but if are from tech branch then you have to face some issues related to placements and intership btw our college recently hired a new TPO ( Training and Placement Officer) and we are hoping that he will do something regarding the placement of tech branches

1. Its an institute of national inportance 2. It has strong industry connection 3. Good infrastructure and labs available here 4. Growing placement records in the institution 5 The institute is growing in the growing stage so it provides a good platform to be a part of its growth

As in chemical department the placement are very nice and best as mainly PSUs like ongc ,gail ,iocl ,oil india limited, hpcl and many more and the those who don't want placement always opted for higher studies

Eligibility criteria for placement is to have a CGPA above 8 and to have successfully completed Internships from good companies. Another important thing is to have good communication skills for clearing interviews and should be active in various clubs.

As the tech branches are quite new here so there is no official data available online or offline because few batches are passed out yet but in core branches like chemical and Petroleum have descent placements and a very string alumni network .

For Chemical engineering placements are very nice students are mainly placed in PSU's and those students who didn't get placement will go for higher studies . Most students chose higher studies in their domain.

As the tech branches are very new here so there is not much data available for those courses but core branches like chemical and petroleum have a very good number of placed students. Almost all students get placed and others pursue higher studies.
