I got admission through the KCET counseling.My rank was around 21000 and the cutoff for Electronics and Instrumentation was around 22000 in general category. During counseling I had read some reviews of the college and this college was on the top 10 colleges that I would opt to enter through KCET exam. One can get admission in the college through: 1. KCET exam for students in Karnataka after completing 12th. The cutoff is around 20000 rank ever year for general category in electronics and instrumentation branch. 2. Comed-k exam for students outside Karnataka. 3. Management seats for selected courses only.

The reason for me choosing this college was mainly for the exposure it has and its alumni network. Coming to the admission process it was smooth and we followed the regulations given by the KEA so it went smoothly.

I had taken the COMEDK exam and I got a 6747 rank according to which I searched for the best college for my rank and I got to know about this college. I got to know that this college has good placement, a lush green campus and the transportation is also very good and the weather of Mysore was a plus point for me to decide to come to this college.

The reason I chose this college was, first this college was a top 5th college in Karnataka, and placements (campus recruitments for the job) were good In this college, the teaching in this college is average and the faculties and staff are quite strict but manageable. yeah, I attempted the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and secured a 20k rank in this exam, in the third round of counseling I got (electronics and communication engineering from) the ECE branch in Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) yeah obviously I expected for CSE (computer science engineering)or ISE (information science engineering) I was not able to make it. During the admission process, they asked me to submit all my documents and letters from KCET and finally, my admissions were done and I started pursuing engineering at that college.

After my PUC I attempted the KCET examination in which I scored 7839 rank, and my native is Mysore so I searched the best colleges for B.E in Mysore, so SJCE was the college, And EC cutoff was around 11k for the OBC category, so easily i grabbed the opportunity in such college of engineering
