A significant portion of teachers hold Ph.D. degrees. The college emphasizes the members have relevant and strong academic backgrounds. WCE particularly the CSE department has a reputation for good placements . This is a major draw why students mainly opt for technical branches. WCE follows odd and even semester. Exams include MID sems(MSE) and end sems(ESE).

Since the college has good placements for every branch so I was okay with choosing any branch that was offered to me. The faculty is knowledgeable and helpful but also strict. Digital boards and PPTs are used for teaching purposes and also notes are provided where required. The employed teaching method is good but can be a little challenging for the freshers as most are not familiar with learning through PPTs. The exams are held twice a semester. The mid semester exam [MSE], which is a 30 marks exams and End semester exam [ESE] is a 50 marks exam and 20 marks are for in-sem exam [ISE]. The form of ISE varies from faculty to faculty. Some give assignments while others takes multiple tests. The exam difficulty usually varies between easy to moderate.

I chose electronics engineering because of my interest in semiconductors and processors. The faculty here is highly qualified, many holding MTech and Ph.D. degree. Also, regular guest lectures and workshops are conducted. Teachers here follow Bloom's taxonomy. The whole semester has 3 parts in exams. Mid semester, end semester and internal marking. The difficulty of the exams is manageable if we attend classes regularly.

I choose this course because of scope of this trade . Most of faculty done their PhD. Teaching method is not too good exams are too deficult. Most of the skills you have to develop by your self, for there are some clubs.

The course curriculum is quite well structured and suitable for the competitive exams as well. Also the curriculum is updated regularly to keep up with the new technologies. The faculties are also well trained and experienced. the classrooms are also very good.

Though it's a autonomous college. But the curriculum for first year includes subjects irrespective of branch that is common to all. However, in the later stages it improves. And the faculty as well as academics is quite decent.

Faculty is supportive except 1 or 2.Teaching is as same as other engineering colleges some teachers teaches really good and we understand the concepts properly but some teachers teaching is not that much understandable.

Faculty is not that good. Many of the things we have to do it by ourselves only there are many clubs in college for personal growth, communication skills, public speaking. They arrange sports, gathering once in a year.

So I wanted to take CS orelse IT because I wanted to be software engineer so I had only IT as choice so I opted for it.The faculty are very professional most of them have done there Masters in subjects also some have done PhD this faculty have plenty of experience in work field they are always supportive and helpful for students.

Faculty us good of college as there are old faculty which teach us from many years . They provide proper knowledge and syllabus is best of our college as compared to other colleges syllabus. We love to study.
