DSCE Admission Process

B.E. admission at DSCE is done under the Karnataka Engineering Admissions system run through KEA and VTU rules. Students mainly enter through KCET for Karnataka-domicile seats or COMEDK UGET for all-state seats. Direct admission is also available through the management quota.

COMEDK UGET is a private engineering entrance exam used for admission to Karnataka private colleges. DSCE uses COMEDK code E040.

  • Eligibility: 10+2 PCM with at least 45% aggregate.
  • Entrance: COMEDK UGET, held every year in May.
  • Selection: Admission is through COMEDK rank-based online counselling at comedk.org. The DSCE application fee is INR 1,800.

Management Quota Admission

DSCE has management quota seats for B.E. admission in 2026-27. Students do not need to take a separate DSCE entrance test. They must have at least 50% in PCM, pass each subject, and hold a valid KCET, COMEDK, or JEE Main score.

MBA and MCA Admission

MBA and MCA admission is based on Karnataka PGCET scores through PGCET counselling. For MBA management quota seats, DSCE also accepts MAT, CAT, and KMAT Karnataka scores. Shortlisted students have to attend a group discussion and personal interview at DSCE.
