How to Download the CMAT Admit Card

NTA releases the admit card through cmat.nta.nic.in. In 2026, students downloaded it using the application number and date of birth. The release notice was issued on 21 January for the 25 January examination.

• Open the admit-card service for the relevant examination year.
• Enter the application number and date of birth, with the security details requested on the login screen.
• Download the document and check the personal details, photograph, centre and timing.
• Print the admit card with the undertaking and instructions. Keep a saved copy for reprinting.

NTA does not send the card by post or issue a duplicate at the test centre. If the application number is missing, first check the saved confirmation page and registered email messages. An old-year download link is not a 2027 admit-card service.

City Intimation Slip vs Admit Card

The city slip tells the student which examination city has been allotted. It helps with travel planning, but it is not valid for entry to the examination. The admit card provides the allotted centre and session.

The CMAT examination schedule lists these releases separately. The tentative 7 February 2027 exam date does not establish a city-slip or admit-card release date.

Details to Check After Downloading

Match the candidate name and application details with the form and intended ID. Check that the photograph and signature are readable. Then note the examination date, allotted timing and full centre address.

A similar-looking centre name can still refer to a different venue. Plan the route using the address printed on the admit card, not an address from a coaching message or the previous year's examination.

If the name changed after marriage or another legal event, the 2026 instructions required the relevant marriage certificate, divorce decree or legal name-change document. Do not edit the downloaded card yourself.

Wrong Details or Download Problems

Contact 011-40759000 or cmat@nta.ac.in for download difficulty or an error in the card. The bulletin also lists 011-69227700. Keep the application number and describe the wrong field or error message.

For a discrepancy in personal details, photograph or signature, the 2026 bulletin directed students to approach the helpline between 10 AM and 5 PM. It allowed them to appear with the already-downloaded card while NTA corrected the record later. Follow the response for the individual case; do not replace a printed detail by hand.

A missing card can also be connected to an incomplete application, unpaid fee or unclear application images. Review the confirmation and payment status in the CMAT registration process before assuming that the download service alone is at fault.

Documents Required at the CMAT Centre

• Bank passbook with photograph

The ID had to be original, valid and non-expired. Keep the additional photograph separate for the attendance sheet. A phone image of the admit card does not meet the printed-document requirement.

Candidates claiming disability-related assistance needed the applicable certificate and other prescribed evidence. The CMAT disability and eligibility provisions explain why a certificate, a writing-limitation assessment and a scribe request can serve different purposes.

Reporting Time and Exam-Room Rules

The 2026 bulletin asked candidates to report two hours before the examination. The test ran from 9 AM to 12 noon. Use the reporting and entry instructions on the relevant admit card rather than carrying that clock time into a later year.

Take the allocated seat and show the admit card and accepted ID during verification. If the computer develops a problem, call the invigilator rather than moving to another seat on your own.

Phones, earphones, calculators, notes and electronic gadgets were prohibited. Rough sheets were supplied at the centre and had to be returned to the invigilator after the test. Diabetic candidates had a specific allowance for sugar tablets or fruit such as banana, apple or orange.

NTA did not offer a re-test for a candidate who missed the allotted examination. A requested change of city, centre or shift was not a way to reschedule the test.

Scribe Details and Compensatory Time

For 2026, eligible candidates who had chosen to provide their own-scribe details at city intimation could submit them from 16 to 18 January. The portal used the application number and password, with a Register Scribe Details option for the applicable candidates.

The submitted details appeared in the application and confirmation page. This step did not replace the medical/disability evidence needed for the facility.

Eligible candidates could receive at least 20 minutes of compensatory time per hour, or at least one hour for the three-hour test. The facility depended on the stated disability and writing-limitation conditions, including a prescribed route for certain candidates with less than 40% disability.

Keep the Admit Card After the Exam

Save the admit card with the application confirmation and eventual scorecard. NTA advises retaining these records for later reference.

An issued admit card does not certify that a student meets every MBA college's academic requirements. Eligibility remains subject to verification at later stages, including the degree and category documents used for admission.
