NTA will soon release the official eligibility criteria along with the CMAT notification 2026 on the official website – exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT. Thus, candidates appearing for CMAT 2026 must fulfil CMAT eligibility criteria in terms of nationality, age, qualification, etc to register themselves.
- Candidates must be citizens of India with a bachelor’s degree or be a final year graduation student to meet the eligibility criteria for CMAT 2026.
- CMAT Exam Dates are announced officially by NTA. This year, the CMAT exam date 2026 is scheduled for January, 2026.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2026 Reservation For PwD
Candidates with 40% or more disability as listed in RPwD Act 2016 meet the eligibility criteria for CMAT 2026 reservation. Candidates with the following disabilities can claim admission under the Persons with Disability (PwD) reservation category:

CMAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria for Scribe
Under the PwD reservation policy, candidates with visual impairment, dyslexia, disability in upper limbs, or other disabilities that limit them in using CBT platforms can apply to have a scribe in the CMAT exam.
Note:
- Opt for scribe during CMAT Registration 2026.
- A scribe will be allotted by NTA. Candidates cannot choose or bring their scribe.
- PwD candidates will be given 60 minutes extra to finish their CMAT exam.

Hello Abhishek! If you have successfully registered at the official NTA website to avail the facility of the Test Practice Centre then you can visit the Centre. Your parents may drop you at the test centre but they will not be allowed to enter the test centre during the exam or practise mock tests.
For Undergraduate courses, applicants must have a completed 12th grade with 45% aggregate marks, 40% aggregate for restricted categories.
For Postgraduate courses, applicants must complete their graduation with at least 50% of their degree in their respective stream from an accredited university. 45% aggregate marks for SC/ST students.
The eligibility criteria for MBBS admission to MPMSU are mentioned below.
- The Candidate must pass 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in PCB from a recognized Board
- The Age limit is between 17 and 25 years on or before December 31.
