IIT Madras has launched an Online Certificate Program for Practising Engineers in 3D Printing or Additive manufacturing technologies. Interested candidates can register their name for this program through the official website till September 20, 2023. The Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) of IIT Madras has offered this program.

All candidates are open to apply who have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied sciences of basic sciences with at least three years of working experience, will be offered by the Centre for Outreach and Digital Education. 

This program has been meticulously designed to offer valuable knowledge and skill-enhancement opportunities to engineers who are actively engaged in various industries and professional domains

Murugaiyan Amirthalingam, associate professor in the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering department at the institute, said the course is aimed at practicing and middle-level managers.

The aim of launching this certificate course is to provide a complete overview of the pre-and post-processing methodologies, design strategy for additive manufacturing, fundamentals, and applied knowledge of additive manufacturing technologies.
