According to recent batch they have received 95% students placed. Everyone knows about Iits placements so they is no need to worry about it. If you are giving your potential you will be placed at a good place

For placements, you need to have a good CGPA and develop many skills in your domain of interest. Many famous core and non-core companies come to IITM for placements. I am in first year, so I don't know much about placements, but almost all students get placed with a good salary.

We have a placement cell run by students. And before placements, almost every student undergoes internship cell too. I got an internship in Kapiva Company, banglore. Almost 130-150 companies come to our campus to give offers. 300-350 people get placed in one or other company. Next placement session starts in August 2025. Now 2024 placements are going on in our campus. Highest package is 4.3cr by Japanese Company. And average package is 22lpa. My plans after getting degree is to plan for higher studies in foreign.

Serious students are getting good placements and internships. One need minimum 6.5 cgpa. Placement statistics can be checked on official site. Students mostly get placed as data scientists. I am planning for masters through GATE exam.

The placements are on par with IIT standards and a lot of companies visit IIT Madras every year. The genral eligibility criteria of appearing for placemrnts is just registration in the fourth year and then further each company has it own it's own criteria like 7CGPA, branch, experience etc.

Really beated all other highest packages obtained till now 3) This aceademic year nearly 150 companies has came for internship and 200 for placement

Companies use to come to our campus (IITs) first before going to another campuses. Our highest package is 4.3cpa. and average package is 16lpa. We have placement sessions going on at the start of final year. We can shift to dual degree based on our CGPA. If not interested in placements, we can do projects under professors which will be very helpful for our resume building and getting placed to other colleges outside India or other companies later.

Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman sachs, Nvidia offer many intern offers to students at their 3rd year. Most students get into jobs with a pre-placement offer from these companies. In 2024 season, there were 445 offers and 407 PPOs. Also, there were 15 international offers. Out of these, 25 offers were more than 1 Cr per annum. Most job offers comes under Engineering &Technology and IT& Software development. Totally, 480+ companies visited IIT M. Average package is around 22 LPA.

This course also provide placement and internship support to students. Approx 65% students were placed or get internship letters. The average CTC is 10LPA in this course. Which is much better than private colleges.

They are good I mean I am in first year so don't know much about it. There is a lot of companies that come to campus afterall the college is nirf 1 in ranking. Plus you with learn a lot of skill due to its cultural that will help you with placement.
