IIT JAM 2025 Exam Day Guidelines
In view of the Mahakumbh, the JAM 2025 exam on 2nd February 2025, scheduled in Prayagraj, will now be conducted in Lucknow on the same date. Here are some instructions to ensure a hasslefree exam:
- Ensure to carry an IIT JAM admit card and valid ID proof before reaching the exam hall.
- Always ensure to be familiar with the route to avoid any last-minute confusion, making them reach the center late.
- Students should arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam.
- Always carry an extra copy of ID proof and keep a photocopy of the IIT JAM admit card.
- After reaching the examination center, check the seating arrangement as per the enrollment number.
- Log in to the exam at least 15 minutes before to read and understand the instructions.

Items to Carry to the JAM Exam Center
Candidates will be expected to bring the following items in the IIT JAM 2025 exam center:
- The coloured or laser printout of the IIT JAM 2025 admit card.
- A valid photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.)
- Pen and pencil
- A transparent water bottle, hand sanitiser, and face mask
Items Prohibited in the JAM Exam Center
The following are strictly not allowed.
- Books, papers, or notes of any form.
- Mobile phones, calculators, watches, and any electronic devices.
- Bags, wallets
