- Budget friendly and very much supportive for sudent from lower economic group
- Ragging, bullying and harassment free campus. I am telling the truth it's literally free from any such malice. Student body and principal strictly against of any harassment
- Their are many CC TV camera that provides a safe environment.
- Teachers are really very approachable and they provides all necessary resources for our growth
- Huge library with lot of book and also our department has its own library both offline and online. Also our teachers provide us their own book for study
Dislikes
- Some rooms has light or fan problem( don't worry our Principal and working bodies are working on it)
- Their are many washroom but they require regular cleaning. (Also it is informed these year, and official responded positively that they are going to fix the issue)
Remarks :
First good No ragging No sexual harassment or discrimination against nonbinary. Teachers are amiable, knowledgeable and help us to achieve our future goals. The cost is significantly less than other universities and college. Lab are well organized. Our Principal and HOD encourage us for cultural and collateral activities. Student body are highly supportive. Also we have various student club. Cons Little bit lack in infrastructure( though it is not a serious issue) due to shortage of fund.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Provides CBCS system of education. Have chance to join Value Added Course that will help you to earn livelihood Helps athletes and talented person to achieve their goal. Faculty has good interaction skill and they operate college very smoothly
Placement Experience :
Many of our senior are teacher in other college even we also have a maam who studied masters from our department. Also their are many senior who are currently researching in various prominent institutions like CSIR, CU and etc. Also many are entrepreneur and opened their own business. Some of our senior also in public service sector.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
9500 approx for admission of onr year and 1050 exam fee for per semester. We have 2 semester per year Additional excursion, seminar, value added course fee are separate matter. Sometimes they are free of any cost while other time wr have to pay around 500 rs for seminar, 1000-3000 rs for value added course, excursion is highly variable.
Campus Life :
We have various interactive club that spreads awareness. Maintain student well being and hobby. Also same time running or being a member of such club help you to learn real life skill. Also No discrimination against gender, age or cast. Anyone allowed to join and even hold positions if he/she/they wants. No bullying is tolerated Also we have a chep store for fair price printout and Xerox Cafeteria for healthy and cheap priced food.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
