Likes
- The college provides laboratory for students. That is helpful for students.
- The library is good. You can find lot of books. And they provide a computer for your research in library.
Dislikes
- The college college's foods from canteen is not good and also unhygienic.
- The college students don't attempt any classes.
Remarks :
I am actually a partial dropper and this is a decent college of my locality that's why I chose this college. You can take admission from WBCAP website. If you have under 50 percent of your 12th board exam then you can take admission without any problem
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am actually a partial dropper and this a decent college of my locality that's why I chose this college. The teachers are serious about our study methods and in every class they provides projectors. And the exam difficulty level is decent.
Internships Opportunities :
The college don't provided any internship for experience that will help us for work life. And this is not any engeneering college or medical college which gave internship. There are no internship for our course.
Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
When we admitted in college then we have 1328 rupees which was included admission fees and first semister fees. For second semester we will give 1050 rupees which are total 2378 rupees. And for second year we will give 2100 rupees for 3rd and 4th semester and same as 3rd semester. College provides swami vivekananda scholarship which gave 18000 rupees every year under some circumstances and you can applied for oasis scholarship for SC and ST.
Campus Life :
College always welcome us for fest and sport like things. They arrange freshers welcome fest every year. And as well as farewell party. They provides lot of books and magazines in our library. Every year they represent a sport compilation. And student union always help us.
Hostel Facilities :
In our college the food canteen exists. But in my opinion foods are not that much good and also unhygienic. That's why I don't recommend the foods of our canteen. You can get out from college for buying foods. And college don't have any hostel for students.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
