- The college infrastructure is one of the best in the state and the campus is a green campus and very close to nature.
- The college professors are highly qualified and very helpful.
Dislikes
- The college has still a backward method of teaching and are not Fully accustomed to smart teaching.
- The college attandance is not at all flexible and very strict
Remarks :
There are several factors that has made me choose this college. 1. The college a provides a very student friendly atmosphere. 2. The college has very qualified professors. 3. The college has an wonderful infrastructure. 4. The college's placement cell is one of the best in the state among private universities. 5. The college has a very strict attandance monitoring system and is bery disciplined.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I personally chose my course of Computer science and Business Systems because I wanted to study computer science because i had a love for coding with business studies because I wanted to study business and expand my job opportunities. The teaching faculty is highly qualified and very helpful along with the non teaching staff. The methods of teaching are a little out of date and there is scope for improvement in this field. The exams are always on time as it follows Makaut's exam routine which is one of the best in the state.
Internships Opportunities :
The college provides a free internship program for students in the fourth year. Me who is currently in the third year od college is yet to apply in an internship but soon will be applying in one. Although to be very honest the internship provided by the college does not help that much.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are one of the best aspects of this college. Last year the placement percentage was 191 and more or less every student has gotten placement. My seniors who I know personally are all placed in very big companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college fees structure is very affordable by middle class families. The yearly fees is more or less like 1 lakh rupees and the total course fees is like 4 lakh 80 thousand. The college also takes a caution fees of 15 thousand which is included in the total course fees.
Campus Life :
The life at the campus is very exciting as there are a lot of clubs to participate in. The students can also get free coaching in any sport they want provided they are available at the college. The best thing about the college is the annual college fest, ARCADIA. It's one of the best fests among private universities.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not applied for an hostel myself. Though I have heard from my hosteller friends that the hostel is very clean and hygienic. The hostel is just beside the campus and is very big and can accommodate a lot of students.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
