No, I thought the college life would be great in Amity. I was just scrolling the colleges and then found Amity and then studied a Lil bit about it on internet and then chose this college. That's all.
The faculty is pretty good , they teach very well and will also help if you have any doubts after class. They are also friendly with the students who respects them. I don't have any complaint about the faculty at all
I am still in 2nd yr so I haven't got the chance to opt. For a intership but I heard from the seniors and faculty that in the 3rd year you get to join an internship after summer semester examination.
I guess it's good. I heard from the seniors that if you maintain a above average cgpa you'll be allowed to sit in the interview and many well known companies come in Amity to offer jobs. And also you'll be sent for internships
The fees increases year by year . Total 3 years course full fees is 410000/- rupees. And in my time 1 year is suddenly increased and it became a 4 year course so maybe approximately Rs. 140000 is more to be added as it became a honours course... The thing is when we took admission it was only 3 years then without asking it got increased.
If you engage in events you'll know things are pretty well and the students here maintain a premium aura . But as I am an introvert type of guy who doesn't attend events that much so I don't know much but the in Amity there's always something events going on but the along with the classes..
I didn't opt for hostel but I know the fees and the fees is just for the room and the room is sharing and for the food you have to buy it from canteen or outside. There are total 3 canteen in the college
Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.
One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies
Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.
I do not have any idea abt hostel i just filled ir because the web is forcing me to and about internship and package theres nothing college gives you come on it’s not engineering college it’s a law college they do not provide much but the basic other things you gotta look out for yourself
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
