This college campus is comparatively big and beautifully organized.Staffs are so helpfull and some are really friendly.i am having a great experience here.Basically the faculty is quite impressive and also helpfull for studies
This course is all about Artificial intelligence and machine learning which is quite interesting for me and really wanted to learn it from core and be a web developer. The faculty is well trained and very helpful when it comes to learning new things. They have impressive teaching methods too.Along with that the regular CA exams prepare us for every difficult question and specially semester
Yes,I had opted for few internships offered by college. They were generally based on Artificial intelligence and machine learning and other one was on cyber security.i truly learned many things from the internship
75% attendance and regular labs are compulsory for any student sitting for any kind of placement. For this courses you should have proper knowledge about coding like C++,JS,Python,HTML and so on...Here the highest LPA offered is around 15LPA.
There is structured fee chart which mentions correctly about tution fees which us around 50000 per semester and the caution money is 6000/- .There are several scholarships available for SC,ST and OBCs along with that many student can avail few scholarships depending on father's income. The lab fees and admission fee is comparatively less.
Life at the campus is too good.As i said the campus is well maintained and beautifully organized. There are several clubs like drama club,Art & Craft club, cinematic club, cultural club which brings out more fun here.We had a separate common room for boys and girls for different sports(Table tennis,Carrum etc).Every year freshers are welcomed with great cultural events and so one.Along with that Fest (Surotsav) is organized by the cultural committee.
Since i live nearby the college i didn't rented any room or pg or opted for any hostel room.My home us around 15km from the college so i cant provide you this information sorry.
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
