Remarks :
The admission process was so smooth the reason for choosing this College is the ground or I say opportunities in sports and academic too this is not a extra ordinary college but not bad as people think it's ok to say average but ya the faculty are very supportive and humble they help the students and teachers very properly even asking for 2 3 times they'll explain to the students but ya if you are a non Bengali then you must face some problems in the beginning of the semester but after that you are going to adapt the environment Nd nature of the college. So if you want to make a future in sports then this place is for you even the academic section and past records of the college is also good so it's all your decision but I must say this is the best college among jis group after narula ig! The college is 3.8/5
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose CSE Data Science because of my passion to be a data scientist I must say if you are good at coding you have to much opportunities and be a professional. I am very grateful to my big brother who helped me to choose the carrier and the mentor in the college who explaines everything to me and tell me about the future of data scientists so basically the 1 sem exam takes place b/w dec and Jan and the difficult level of the paper is moderate but ya the basic electrical paper is kinda tough in comparison to others. The teaching method of the teachers are very good they are very supportive and humble they help me whenever I stuck in the problems equations etc they'll explain the process 2 3 times if I don't understand so the faculty is very good.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The first sem fees with registration is 94800 something and the 2 nd sem fees will be 61500 after that the 61500 is continues to 8th sem there is a scholarship named swami vivekanand scholarship in which the scholarship of 20 or 30k per sem has been given by the govt and also the west bengal students fees is less in comparison to other state Students.
Campus Life :
Tbh I have joined the college in the month of August in August only the sip program takes place after that there is no fest have been done or anything ya but in navratri garba night has been played. The librarian is very polite and helpful the availability of books is very good all the books are available in the library which I can borrow and read. There is so much of Sports and extracurricular activities you'll enjoy the campus life of surtech because of the sports and extracurricular activities there are too many extracurricular activities in which you can participate so you'll definitely enjoy you sports and extracurricular activities life in the campus. My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
