- I don't like our virtual lab , it have the oldest pc .
- Second thing I don't like the table tanis room .
Remarks :
My elder brother studied at this college so he suggested me to take admitted to this college. Before taking admission I went to visit the college campus, there I visited the campus, and talked to some professors of the college after that I decided to take the admission. I didn't give any GD, interview or test admission. I got the admission based on my WBJEE rank, my rank was around 67k and they gave me a small discount on course fees for spring 82% in my HS exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose ECE because it's my aim. Here in my college most of the teachers have done their p.hd, they are very helpful for those students who are willing to know more. Overall the Teaching system in my college is very good. Our college is under Makut University so the exams are taken by the University according to its academic calendar. If we talk about the difficulty level of the exams then I think the exam's level is a little bit tough. The fee structure is good. I have to pay 3.3 lakh for my course in 2022 and I will get back my security money after completing my course. Currently, the course fee of the ECE course is around 4 lakh.
Internships Opportunities :
Till now I have not had any internship. Some of my seniors got internships. Till now we got some basic curriculum training. We have done some projects on python Django. This project helped me a lot in my course.
Placement Experience :
In last year about 75% of students got placed including campus placement. In our college mainly CSE and ECE students get placement with good packages. They got an average package of 4.5 lakh. I am thinking of higher studies after completing my b. tech, I want to go for m .tech. Our college also provides an m.tech degree.
Campus Life :
There are two festivals in a year, one is freshers welcome which is celebrated in September or October and the other one is cultural fest which is celebrated in April. If we talk about the library facilities, then I must say it's very good, you will find any book related to your course. Let's talk about the annual sports- Our college comes under the jis group, so there is an inter-college championship between NIT, GNIT, JIS KALYANI etc. There are many kinds of games like cricket, football, basketball, badminton, TT, chess etc. There are some cultural groups run by the students like a photography group, a dancing group etc. Our college provides a hostel facility, there the food quality is very good, but you have to walk 15 min to go to the college from the hostel. Or if you want you will find so many pg around the college area.

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
