- College have there own big library,And academic building all are air conditioned that made students comfortable for studying.
- Dispensary and Laundry services are also available here inside the college which have not to pay any extra amount of fee all are included in your semester fee.
Dislikes
- Nothing is disliked by me because this college has all the things that you a student wants for good study and learning
- One of the thing is College campus is small as compared to big private colleges but good enough to survival for study and focus for achievement.
Remarks :
The main factors are that i have chosen the college was its placement and its lagecy to produce good marine engineers.I have faced entrance exam IMUCET and then gave name into counseling and they have me chance to join IMU kolkata.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Academic are good enough as per marine engineering requirement. The whole campus is for one branch that is Btech in Marine engineering. Faculties are trained in this field to teach us and Academic timing are strictly followed.
Internships Opportunities :
For externship students have to give efforts and college will support you for that some time college will also send you for internships.In futur i will also go for internships.Many of our seniors have done the internships. And if some who doesn't have done any internships they also got placed in good companies.
Placement Experience :
Here placements are available for all average students that if they are 0 arear at the time of placement they have good chances for placement. Here placement senerio is good enough that even if you have good marks you can get placement in 2nd year also yes companies come for second year batch also. In my batch 10 to 15 are placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is specific scholarship here in the Indian Maritime University, Kolkata But in between courses our respected alumni association provides some amount of scholarship money for financialy weak students. Fee is same for all categories(General ,SC ,ST,Obc). The fee per year for 2023 batch is 248000 It has increased for 2024 entry.Loans are easily available there because due to capis has a SBI branch.
Campus Life :
Campus is in 33 acre.And Campus is disciplined and Paramilitary type.In whole year there are many prgrams held in College Auditorium and some time in College assembly hall(Both are big).And a library which is has good facilities.Academic building,An asia's biggest Marine workshop,A playground,A swimming pool,A basketball court ,Volleyball court ,Badminton court,common Gym for campus,A Cafeteria and a canteen, College main feast is TEMFEST of 4 to 5 days.And many and Different year has there seperate hostel in which they have Gyms also table tennis facilities,Pool tables is also available etc . Many other facilities are also available here that makes our College life amazing.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are inside the campus different years have there seperate hostels.And there seperate mess. Mess food quality is good enough to eat and menu are according day wise. In hostel Gyms are available and infrastructure of hostel is also good.Hostel fee is included in semester fee no extra charges is added.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
