- I choose faculties they such a great personality all are officers so they have experienced and helping nature well behave to you and they taught us manh real life incidents and all by which we can save from that and know the real truth behind all
- Campus life is also good with sports and all playing with your friends together practicing and representing your college in different colleges or level feel proud.
Dislikes
- Dislike about the college is just the monsoon in Kolkata just a nightmare all college is being a pond with full of water that may cause harm to us alot in every mamner
- Mostly i dislike is to be kept in college for whole semester
Remarks :
Yeah i have to give the entrance test which is IMU CET after qualifying i choose this college throung counseling i choose this because this the oldest and the best central government college for the marine engineering..
Course Curriculum Overview :
Basically not too much just i want to work on engine side and love machinery so i choose this.. Faculties are well qualified and actually they all have actual sea or onboard experience because they are all work on merchant navy in his time so they taught us alot about that and i think that well help us alot to survive in real life at sea Exams are precisely on time because university have very strict rules in this and from my pov difficulty level hard as may you think just because of number of subjects you have to read is more as compare to normal engineering colleges
Internships Opportunities :
You may regularly get the internship opportunity from various side like INS SHIVAJI Or any port side or you can also apply from your side college will help you to provide as much as they can and in every batch there is a incharge of internships who regularly forward messages related to internships..
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement is not too much just maintain your overall aggregate to 72-75% and you don't have any back paper... Our bulk recruiters are Fleet Management, Dynagas, Marsek,Synergy, MSC,WSM,MOL and pacific basin and many more too Highest package pf starting you can get 1200000 to 1300000 Minimum is 600000 to 800000
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid 225000 rupees per year but from now 300000 rupees per including everything like hostel,mess,uniform, books and all You can get scholarship from different things opportunities are came regularly
Campus Life :
In our college we conduct Asia's largest marine fest which we called TEMPEST and it is held on February every year Our library is just too good cause of space to study and variety of options you get there is alot ..really awesome As you want to know about sports there are i think all major sports are available in our college with a perfect team sports like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, kabbadi, badminton, table tennis For website run by students is news related to marine industry
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is average you may called better than normal engineering colleges Menu of our mess is good for vegetarian and non vegetarian too In this course or merchant navy there is no option to live outside the campus you have to be in hostel that us compulsory and fees are included as per semester or year

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
