Remarks :
The factors because of which I choose this college are: This college has the best placement ratio as compared to other colleges, and this profession is different from others. The admission process is that you have to clear IMU CET examination and you have to secure good all india rank to get admission in this college also you should have 60% in your 12th PCM.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because this course has good future and salary is also good in this profession. Faculties are well qualified and almost everyone have done PhD, and some faculties are also passout of this college only. Yearly 2 times examination occurs along with practicals and the difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for any internship, Some ports provide internship to the students like manglore port, Ins Shivaji, etc. Stipend is not provided in the internship only certificate is provided which is attached during the placement time.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria is that students should be all clear to sit for placement. Few recruiter that visit the campus are NYK Shipping, MSC, Dynagas, Fleet mangement etc. Highest package is 1500 dollars per month, and average package is 500 dollars per month. 90% students get placed till final year. My plans after the degree is to get a good job and continue my job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees is 225000 in which 100000 is to be paid in odd semester and 125000 in even semester. The caution fees is 20000 paid during the admission. The examination fees is 500 rs per subject. The fees of every batchmates is same, fee doesn't depends on category. Scholarship like DMET Alumni Scholarship is provided to deserving students.
Campus Life :
Fests like Tempest is conducted during the month of February every year. All the books are available in the library itself and also many journals are available. Sports facilities are available and every sports are available to play in this college. There are many social groups named Enigma available in the college and these groups are managed by the students itself.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is good in the hostel mess and also the menu is average. Registration process for hostel is simple and it's mandatory for every student to stay in hostel itself. Renting room and living outside the campus is not permitted.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
