- Hostel quality is very poor ,the bed u will get maybe too old so just go and approach the warden
- Mess quality is not up to the mark u will find insects in food sometimes
Remarks :
Placement is good ,yes written exam is imucet ,the reality is little harsh though the life is very routined ,seniors are very helpful but you need to mainten a boundary,sports culture is at its peak here ,extra curricular activities scope is also very good
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is good ,it's a routined life ,faculties are approachable ,in the first semester you have 6 subjects and 4 practicals,just study hard one month before exam and you can easily be all clear
Internships Opportunities :
No not right now,but in the 2nd year cadets get chances for internship like in INS savitri big ships of india .Companies are very muchh interested in us as we the dmetians have created our legacy in the field of marine from many years.Our passouts engineering officers have proved that dmetians can do anything on board and no task is impossible for them.Coming on to the internship opportunities our college imu kc erstwhile dmet is collaborated with the Indian Navy and big ships like INS savitri is chosen for the internship,We are made exposure with the engine rooms of the ship which we will be dealing fully after the completion of our course on board.
Placement Experience :
Placments are good ,various companies comes through here ,like Torm tankers ,fleet ,nyk,mol,iocl etc also internships collaboration with indian Navy keeps going here,You can get of campus placements in companies like synergy
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee yearly is 2.5 lakhs and full course it is 11 lakh and yes it has increased last to last year it was 9 lakhs only fully,But yeah as per placement records and the money u will be making in future it's justified
Campus Life :
Social life is limited to only batchmates In the first year and very formal conversation will be between seniors and you.but as you get ahead the things become easy , And join sports ,non sports people are not taken seriously here
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facility is normal not very good ,mess food quality is little comprising but quantity is good .Ofcourse you won't be able to get food like home but yeah u need to manage and make it as habit for the atleast first year

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
