- The college infrastructure is very good they have a good faculty members
- We have gym , food court, canteen and a good library.
Dislikes
- The most of the teachers are not permanent they leave the University agter doing the job for 6-7 months
- College doesn't provide field visits and hands on practical studies
Remarks :
Good aspects are that the teachers are very friendly they are always available if we have any doughts .but there is a less field visits and practical studies. To get the addmission in this college first you have to book an seat by paying them 5000 rupees after that they will take an online exam in which we have to pass and this is the simple addmission process followed by others . I didn't prepare for the exam by doing extra activities because questions are very easy.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Data science is one of the best course for future. And I'm always interested about data and Information and this subject really fascinate me alot that's why I choose this subject . Qualification of the faculty is very good .. they teach us with the help of projector's. Also they help to clear our doughts. In one semester we have two class tests and one final exam .. and the exams are very easy because teachers provide us all the necessary study materials
Internships Opportunities :
I opted for a internship in a company called sanjhi sehat organisation with no stipend. I have work with them as a marketing assistant. I have done a several projects like market research of diabetic patients and making some add vedios for them
Placement Experience :
From 6th sem onwards placements are start. The eligibility criteria are set by the companies also for example some companies set the rule that students with more than 8cgpa only seat for the placement. Average package is 3lakh and highest it can be 15 lakh . More than 80% student got the placements every year
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly we have to pay at around 1.2 lakhs and in the last sem we have to pay 30k in each semester.and all the other fee like lab fee, library fee. Development fee etc are included in it. Students who have avail scholarship they have to pay less amount. There are scholar's upto 25k for other backward casts and there is a scholarship available for the student of this state called Swami Vivekananda scholarship upto 60 k per year. And there are also scholarship available on the basis of merit cum.
Campus Life :
The annual fest called Anandadharaa held on the month of mey every year. There are hefty number of books are available on the library. We have two playgrounds and also college conducts games like kabaddi , cricket, football, musical chair , and soo many. There are soo many clubs are present in the college like art club, chees club , musical club etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I have stayed in the hostel during my first semester.. for the hostel we have to pay 10 k every month . The rooms are very big . In one room 4 girls are stay there . The food quality is good . They provide 4 meals .. breakfast, lunch , snacks, dinner . I have now rented a room in champadali nearby our college.. most of the students stayed here.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
