Good enough and cost effective college

- Buildings infrastructure are good enough as compare to other colleges.
- Class rooms, benches, and the boards for the studies smart boards they are well enough
Dislikes
- Faculties are good but not much good, they are well educated but some of them are not good in there teaching profession
- Campus Life is good enough but if you are non Bengali then you may have to suffer from language barriers
Remarks :
Infrastructure is good, faculty's are ok, you may suffer from language barriers if your are non Bengali, as I'm non Bengali so in starting I have to suffer this problem but after some time you will be used to it
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well educated but I will not say they are much good in teaching, I choose this course because I like computer science much. Exams timings are good enough and difficulty is all on you as how you prepare for the exams
Internships Opportunities :
No such internship are visited in the college, as you have to take the internship by your own side, that is from the outside, internship programme are not good in the college, you will have to suffer from this problem if you choose this college
Placement Experience :
Placement cell are good in college as college is providing good companies to visit , this year amazon is visited in the college for the placement, many more such good companies are also visiting, many startups are also visiting
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
If you scored more than 70% in your 12th then you will get 50000 discount on btech cse in this college and for west bengal students there are much more scholarship available. Fir the non Bengali students there are only scholarship based on there 12th board marks
Campus Life :
Not much good it's okay as well, library's are good all books available there l, timely fest are organised by the college for extra curricular and singers of bollywood comes to perform in the college fest, sports are not as good as college have lack of grounds, social clubs and website are provided for the betterment for the students
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel price is too high , I will prefer for the flat there are many flats and pgs are available for students. Girls pg are also available will better food, in reasonable price, locality is good, area is also good

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
