I personally chose this collage because it is near my home , and the fees structure for the collage is quit reasonable , and the placement is also quid decent . There is no interview to get into the university , we only had to give a online examination of class 12 level , regardless the marks , everyone get passed .
I chose btech in computer science as i was always passionate about this field since i was a child . The course outcome for each and every subject is provided in the beginning . We have the theory subjects along with the practical of the same subjects . there are two class test and one semester exam for every semester and the difficulty level is moderate , and we get the suggestions before hand.
i have not opt for the internships yet , but the collage provides internships from wipro , and from the 7th semester we get a lot of placement opportunities. i participated in SIT all India hackathon , and govt projects as well . Basically we had to find and select a problem statement and solve that with innovative and most efficient way possible.
the university claim 98% placement , which is technically true , 50 out of 100 students get a good placement of 6 to 14 lpa package , and most of the other gets less then 5lpa , but if your performance is good throughout the year they you will get good recommendation , and try to maintain 8 sgpa every semester go to able to sit for all the placement examinations.
we have to pay almost 120000 per year , that is 60000 per semester . There are scholarship like if you get above 95% in boards then every the entire course will be sponsored by the collage , you will only have to pay 5000 for the entire course , and you get eligible for the swami vevakenanda scholarship you will get 60000 per year in your bank account.
We have various tech fests , seminars and the one annual tech fest event each year , where concerts are conducted . There are chess cubs , common room , gyms etc are available . There are two libraries in the campus , the library is very good it provides almost all books .

Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
