Remarks :
The good aspect of this college is it has good placement ratio better than other colleges. The admission procedure is simple, you should have atleast 65% in PCM in 12th and you have to clear IMU CET examination. The cut off is you should have atleast under 1000 Rank.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this college because it has a good placement ratio and the college life is also good, also in this profession the salary is really good. Almost all the faculties are PhD qualified and the teaching methods are average. Yearly 2 semester examination occurs and the difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I haven't opted for any internship. But many internship opportunities are available in the college. Internships like INS shivaji, Manglore Port and other shipping ports internships are available in the college.
Placement Experience :
Placement ratio is good, almost 90% students get placed till final year. The eligibility criteria for placement is that you should be all clear in every semester. Few recruiters are NYK, MSC Shipping, Fleet management etc. The highest salary is 1500 dollars per month and the average salary is 500 dollars. 90% students get placed till final year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees is 225000, The tuition fees is 225000 INR which includes the hostel fees and fooding charges. Exam fees per semester is 500 INR per subject, Caution fees is 20000 deposited one time during the admission. It provides DMET alumni scholarship.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good almost all the facilities are available, tempest fest is organised. All the books are available in the college library, classroom are good and has centralised air conditioning system. There are many social groups and clubs run by the students of IMU Kolkata.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are good, food quality is good, hostel fees is included in the semester fees itself as it is a government college. Rooms are 3 sharing and non - ac but overall the hostel facilities are good.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
