Remarks :
No, there is no interview or group discussion for admission to NITs; there is a JEE entrance exam for admission, JEE Mains. After clearing the cut-off according to categories like EWS, OBC, SC, and ST, participate in counseling with the required documents. Even I had also prepared for this exam from Resonance , Kota.
Course Curriculum Overview :
B.Tech from NIT Durgapur is an undergraduate course, with different branches like computer science, electronics, electrical, and more branches. My rank and college along with my branch were a good fit here during my counseling . The faculty of NIT Durgapur much qualified and has theoretical and experienced knowledge. There are mid-term and end-term exam held per semester for 4 - 5 months. the difficulty level of this exam is moderate or sometimes hard depending on the professor.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships offered like summer internships for third-year students and six-month internships for final-year students. with high stipends like Microsoft provides summer internships with stipend of 1 lakh 15 thousand. a final year project, which is mandatory for all to do ,and marks evaluation also there.
Placement Experience :
training and placement cell of NIT Durgapur offer internships for the third year of Btech students and placements for final year students of Btech students with good stipends and packages respectively. approx 200+ good and visit campus and recruits for full-time and part-time also with an average package of 9 LPA. the highest package of NIT Durgapur in 2024 was 70 LPA. 80% of students got placed in the 2024 batch. other students choose higher studies and other domains of interest

Campus Life :
Campus life in NIT Durgapur is a life-emerging experience so come here and experience a big fest one re's life. there are two big fests one is technical Aarohan and one is cultural Recstacy. cultural is conducted at the end of febrary or starting of march. a central library in NIT Durgapur where students do self-studies and separate reading rooms along with book stacks. There are many social clubs, coding clubs, and societies where students learn so many things and explore other than academics. interNITs sports activities are also held by the authority.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, hostel facilities are also provided by NIT Durgapur along with mess with proper hygiene and good brand of ingredients. food quality is also good and provides a one-day special dinner with a variety of foodstuff. a very simple process for registration in a hostel, fill out a form and attach the required documents.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
