- Campus Life is great because of continuous work on club events.
- Faculty behaviour is quite nice if u will meet them personally they will suggest good only.
Dislikes
- In campus Life there is no night canteen this is a problem.
- Infrastructure is not too good.Labs are in quite distance
Remarks :
It's one of the top nit in our country.I have to go through Josaa or csab councelling for admission. First you have to clear Jee mains exam cutoff then only you can sit for the counselling.If you have given 12th boards from West Bengal then it will little bit easy to take admission than other states.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose b.tech in cse course in this college because I have interest in coding and I also want to a good data scientist. Professors and faculty are friendly except few like every educational institute.There teaching style is quite different than school teachers.If no one is listening also they will teach. Some professor are very concern about 75% attendance and few will not interfere in attendance. Don't ever depend on Professors totally. Many times you can't understand them. In one semester you have to give 2 examination first is mid term and second Is end term but in between mid and end You have to give lab viva,Class assessment for internal marks.If you are having less than 1lakh income per year you will don't have to pay tution fees which is around 62k per semester.Exams are quite difficult because there are 8 section in every section teachers are covering less or more topics you have to collect notes from every section to get good cgpa in 1st year.
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not opted for any company because I'm working on my skills development. But college itself also provide many internship offer on basis of your cgpa. In summer vacation mainly internship is offered to students.
Placement Experience :
There will some cg decided by department TPR and company for eligibility criteria. Few visited companies are Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Google, PWC etc.highest package stood INR 70lakh by TCS ninja , PWC, ICICI Bank. Approximately 84.66% students get placed.I will take placement from college only either I will sit for gate exams for m.tech.
Campus Life :
Campus is too greenary it gives peace. Recstacy and Arohan is the two official fest of the nit dgp 2st one is annual cultural fest 2nd one is annual techno management fest. It mainly happens in month of March and April. There's central library which have 1.7lakh book and you can get online book facility also. New academic building Classroom have centralised AC but not in main academic building. There're more than 20 clubs which will help you in personal development.Clubs are runs by final year students and few faculty members. Quality of food is quite amazing for non vegetarian.Everyday you will get non veg and veg as per your choice. College themselves alott the hostels.In locality there's no hostel or pg because it's compulsory to live in hostels.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
