Yes, we have to clear the JEE main Exam which is conducted by NTA to secure the seat. after that, there are 6 rounds of JOSSA counseling where we have to fill in the college name according to our choice and then we can secure the seat. for SC students you need a minimum 88 percentile to secure a seat in the ME department. and yeah college is good for ME students, you can enjoy the campus and academics also but as all know the ME department is a little tough so keep it in your mind
this college is good for ME students because there is good placement for them and has the best no. of students and there is the best campus life you can enjoy everything like academics and college life. faculties are also experienced and have a helping nature and they are so qualified and dedicated to their jobs. there are wise exams like two semesters in a year and these have good difficulty level but you have to learn everything which is in your class notes. For SC students there will maximum fee of 3 lakh for four years and there are many scholarships which you can know by checking the official website of NIT Durgapur.
I didn't opt for any placement yet because the internships are offered in 3rd year only. so the third-year students can apply for the campus internship and for ME students there is less possibility of internship.
85% of the last batch was placed. total 187 companies visit the campus and offer the 746 jobs. You need a CGPA of more than 7 to be eligible for placement, a maximum of 30-40 LPA, and a minimum of 5-7 LPA. after getting a degree just work where you are placed.
Campus life is so good. all students have unity which helps them to unite and the clubs are active but some of the clubs are not beneficial for students. and the campus fest tech fest and cultural fest are organized in March or April. and the library is well organized and has so many books. there batch-wise hostels are opted for.
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
