Remarks :
Jadavpur University is the topmost college that can be obtained by WBJEE which has as fierce a competition as JEE na dother competitive Engineering exams. Jadavpur University itself is a brand and on par with many new IITs, this college provides worldwide exposure with minimal charges. The last branch i.e. BE Printing closed at around 3k WBJEE rank. The syllabus is similar to that of JEE Advanced and Physics and chemistry are tougher than JEE Mains while maths is on par with JEE Mains.
Course Curriculum Overview :
BE. Printing and Packaging Technology is an interdisciplinary course offering worldwide opportunities in this rapidly growing sectore. Though away from mainstream this stream offers numerous opportunities with very low competition because of lack of colleges who teach this courses and this is another factor which attracted me to choose this field. This also allows me to go into three job sectors - consultancy core or software therefore I have my options open and can change whenever I want. The faculty here are experts of what they do and they teach that what is expected from one of the top universities od the world. There are no mid sems, Class tests and Semester exams are what they conduct and they are difficult enough but nothing clmes outside of which are taught by the tecahers. They are taken quite timely
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The admission charged are 5200 which cover the fees for the first 4 semesters of the college. The next 2 years we are required to pay 2500 for each year which totals the expenditure to 10200 for 4 years for general Students. These are a lot cheaper for TFW and Reservation Quota students.These don't include hostel fees, The hostel fees generally start from 900 with the higest being 1200 i.e. Single room accomodation of JU salt lake campus. A batchmate of mine if from TFW background and they are required to pay around 710 per year for the tuition fees.
Campus Life :
Srijan'24 - Largest Techno Management fest in the whole of eastern India is held around march to april where several high profile artists perform within the university area. CIIPUS and other fresher events - Even though they are fresher events they are one of the most lively events in the campus welcoming the fresher students every year. Arena - Inter Departmentmental Sports tournament including teaching and non teaching staffs. U-Turn - To have the new freshers explore their cocurriculars and two long and hard years of studying and several other fests as well. Sports facilities here are world class as Ranji trophy and other national tournaments are played right here as well. Numerous clubs are here too - Photography, Science, Finance, Mechatornics, Entrepreneurship cell, etc.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
