- Which I like the most that is the lecture presentation of faculty members.
- Faculty members provide frequent class notes pdf, ppts during the whole year which is very helpful for students for their semester exam.
Dislikes
- There should be a play ground around the campus.
- There should be a canteen around the campus.
Remarks :
The Good aspects of my college was its placement are well good,and the teachers are very friendly.and the bed aspects of my collage is the collage is far away from my home town.i cleared jexpo exam for admission in this collage.i got admission in 1st round of counciling process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This is 3 years engineering course.i was interested in engineering so that's why I choose the course and admission got into Mechanical engineering department because this branch is good for me.Faculty members are well educated for delivering an excellent lecture.
Internships Opportunities :
Most of the students per year have persuited and paid internship in a privet limited company named ARDENT COMPUTECH PVT.LTD. Besides being that some of the students got a internship at local power plants ,steel plant and power grid stations.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement is the student must be pass all the semester with good marks and maintain the average CGPA of 7.5.Every year some of the renounced companies like shyam steel,AMNS are visit the college campus for recruiting students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise I was pay 850 rupees for admission fees and 250 for registration fees. Tuition fees,caution fees,development fees and lab fees are not mention properly.The payment was made though online mode
Campus Life :
An annual festival and a freshers party is organized by the students in this college campus. These programs are held every year. Besides being that is also sports activity which is organized by college authority.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality was very good enough to consume.Hostel rooms are allotted to the students at affordable price.there are also good PGs available near the campus area at low price. This for the students who are not allotted hostel rooms

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
