- Campus Life is good , independence all around , faculties are great , guidance is helpful .
- Infrastructure wise our college is good . It has good classroom , computer facilities , lab facilities , lift facilities.
Dislikes
- Sometimes , the faculties do not deliver up to the mark. It is acceptable .
- The lab instruments could have been a little better . It is manageable although .
Remarks :
The admission to my course , goes past an entrance exam conducted by the University itself a 100 MCQ question is prepared each question carrying 2 marks . One needs to prepare the entire 11 and 12 th physics course syllabus for its preparation. One good side about our university is highly talented students all around , great smart enviornment . Yes there are some cons , like students have a lot of power in their hand like fixing exam schedule , I don't like that .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is good , research oriented inclination from the professors . Great guidance , by Kaustav Das sir . Syllabus is appropriate for JAM , JEST ,TIFR examinations. I chose physics , kind of physics chose me , I gave neet I did not got there into a govt. Medical College , but now I am enjoying it . You can definitely pursue with physics . No harm in that .
Internships Opportunities :
Yes , I have opted for internships , from iit kharagpur , IISER pune . Jadavpur 's teacher referrences really put a huge emphasis on today's scenario . Especially helpful in getting further internships for higher studies also.
Placement Experience :
Yes on campus placements is there for every course that jadavpur offers . Yet , significant campussing occurs only for those who have great skill set , according to the market . So you need to have one .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes , for a course let's say my course is of 4 years , admission fees was 1850/- and after that for each year it is 1550/- . Yes there a lot of alumni scholarship , Freeships provided by jadavpur university . In Freeship the entire admission fees are provided back to the needy students after proper application and interview round with them . There is always flexibility about the time for deposition of fees. No other hidden fees at all . Everything is transparent.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is significant . You can develop all the social skills out there . Seniors are always there to guide you. You can expect a major boost in your personality. There are a lot of events occurring here and now everytime in campus . Major fests are Sanskriti , Srijan , etc . Many events happen every time . It is a lot fun , even if you are not from JU er welcome with immense joy .
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is okayish. But you have to get used to it , you will definitely , er all have been used to it. The hostel rooms are great . The bathrooms are sufficient . The hostels are usually 4 floored rooms. There are a lot of space there . There is wifi continuous connectivity you will have .

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
