- College faculties are not that supportive except for some who help to their maximum extent.
- The college library is the most soothing place.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not that good when you visit the classrooms.
- The campus size is too small. The canteen can accommodate only 40 individuals.
Remarks :
This was one of the best colleges coming on the basis of my rank in WBJEE. The Computer Science department is one of the best departments in the college. Also, placements are good overall. So these were the reasons.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course was chosen by me because it was one of the most trending fields in today's world also the placement was up to the mark when I took the admission. Apart from these the faculties were well qualified.
Internships Opportunities :
In off-campus mode yes. But college provides no support with attendance or grace marks because I am pursuing an internship still I cannot manage to leave the classes. and attendance directly impacts the marks of the practical.
Placement Experience :
Placements generally start in the 7th semester before that there is no chance for internship opportunities until and unless you get an internship on your own via an off-campus process. Apart from these placements are not up to the mark in reality.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No scholarship is being provided. However, some of the students are eligible for the TWF scholarship which is provided to students below the poverty line. Also, people from West Bengal are eligible for SVVMC scholarships as well.
Campus Life :
There is no campus life here because the campus size is too small with bare minimum facilities which consists of a small gym area, a small garden, a small boys common room and a small canteen that is it.
Hostel Facilities :
Since I have not opted for a mess or pg so I do not have much idea about it, though some of my friends said that the facilities depends upon the particular mess or pg yu choose since we don't have a proper hostel.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
