- I like the campus life and the environment and the campus is very clean.
- I also like the faculty and the infrastructure. Its very easy and comfortable to be here.
Dislikes
- The college don't have any groud like play ground so for the annual fest or any program we've to go other place.
- I don't like the campus that much it's not that much good.
Remarks :
The placement is good here and campus life is also great. And I didn't face any interview or like entrance test for this college. But for higher courses like other so may be you should have to give interview and entrance test.
Course Curriculum Overview :
They do regular classes and lectures although faculties are also well behaved here and friendly also. As they are strict for attendance criteria and all so you have to attend classes regularly as per the rules.
Internships Opportunities :
No I've not opted for any internship so I don't have experience but my friend have opted for internship and they told me that it was great experience there and they got so much thing to learn from them
Placement Experience :
Placement is good and they also give opportunities to student. Companies like TCS, EY , AMAZON etc has came to our campus for the interview and many student got the opportunities to work there and there salaries where also satisfying.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Basically I paid 1 lakh something per year for my bachelor's course and the registration fee is nearly like 200 or something I didn't remember that much. And other for the library and all you have to pay min 100 for the library card.
Campus Life :
As I said campus life is great here and it is also ragging free campus so it'll be easy to survive for introvert like people. And the students are also friendly. Seniors are also well behaved as I've seen .
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is also good and safe for both girls and boys. They have several rules which is great and fixed time table for everything like food and when to go outside of the campus and not. And the warden is also good and friendly.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
