- The dislike able thing was in my university was the authority.
- Some Labs are closed, are some lab equipment is very outdated and even, and these were not taken care of.
Remarks :
The name of my university is Jadavpur University. Pursuing Mechanical Engg. 2nd year. The availability of teachers is very large in number. They are highly qualified. Teachers are very communicative and cooperative in nature. If there arises any kind of doubt at any time, they will help to figure out the problem. They are very friendly in nature. Students will contact them anytime and are ready to help at any cost. Teachers-student relations are quite good. Teachers help students in the semester very nicely.
Course Curriculum Overview :
After Wbjee 2023 I have chosen this branch for this royalty. The course curriculum is hard, but the professors made the study material very easy for us. Teachers generally teach by chalkboard mode. Although they are quite familiar with online mode and PPT mode. They have done maximum of the material in our classroom, the main thing we have to do this revise, and practice this material in our home. In, generally they also done the problems in classroom with care.
Internships Opportunities :
As I am recently in 2nd year, seeking some research internships. It is just the end of our 2nd year's 1st semester. I'm recently working on a project which was a research project by one of our faculty.
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible to sit in placement campusing in the 4th year. According to Placement 2024, the very few recruited companies are L%T, Hero, Capgemini, TCS, and so on. The highest package was 27 LPA offered by Gupshup, and the mean CTC was 10.1. 62+ companies came, and no. of students placed was 105. it was 100% placement. I want to go to MNC's.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee of this course is 10000 in 4 years. In our 2nd year there are 900 in tuition fees, session charges 50, Lab & workshop fee is 1500, Admission fee is 0, Registration fee is 0, Library fee is 0, so the total fee is 2450.
Campus Life :
College life is very cool, nice, and quite memorable. There are many fests. Throughout the whole year, we have been waiting for these feats moments. We all know that college life is incomplete without this college fest. In the time of March 2nd or 3rd, the "SRIJAN", Asia's largest tech-management fest is arrangeable by us, we student arrange the sponsorships through our own networks. Then the cultural fest arrived "SANSKRITI". Very renowned bands are performing in our OAT (Open Air Theater). There are no barriers to attending these events. There are no gate passes to enter this event. But there are Arts and Science faculty, they have their own cultural feast "SANSKRITI". So, we have been waiting for this time throughout the whole year.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are very big and very comfortable for studying, coding, and any kind of self-improving things. The food quality is very good and up to the mark. The kitchen is very clean and hygienic, and the cooks are very kind-hearted to cook the foods. Every year students have their hostel, so there is no fear of ragging. Hostel facilities are very good and co-operative, no one can experience any kind of bad experience.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
