- I like the infrastructure of the college as it has many rooms which compatible for all labs and classes will run easily.
- I like the faculties of the college too it is because they are friendly and teach you well.
Dislikes
- I don't like the library it is because it doesn't have large varieties of books to read.
- I also don't like the cafe area it is because it doesn't yet started.
Remarks :
I choose this college rather than other because it more affordable than other engineering colleges. The admission process is very simple you have just visit the college and fill the form online.And pay the first semester fees and it's done.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Civil engineering course despite of others because it has too many scope in government jobs fields and the compitition is too high in computer science.The qualification of the facilities is too high even out HOD got 69 lac prize for his research.
Internships Opportunities :
I didn't got any internship right now but the college will provide you a good internship programmes in the college where you can enroll and learn many things and also get experience for this you receive certificate too.
Placement Experience :
College gives you the placement, many companies where comes to select students and give them a good package.The eligibility criteria is just you have to score good cgpa in all semester so you can easily hired by the companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure is like per semester 45000 rupees so there is 8 semester it means total 3,60000 it is only for civil branch fee is varied in branch to branch.You have to pay the examination fees of 12000 for semester exam cause it is not included in fees.
Campus Life :
The festival which are organised in our college are freshers party ,surotsav and many more . The availability of books in our college is quite decent. In sports our college is too good the ground is bigger too and multiple sports events are organised.
Hostel Facilities :
College didn't have it's own hostel me and the students live in nearby hostel which cost us 4500 per month in which we got a room and food both.The food is fresh and you got decent taste.The locality name is ghoshpara where you easily find the hostel.

Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
