Remarks :
This university has a great brand value and one of the best Chemistry department all over India. You can ask almost anyone and they would proceed you to refer to this college . I was admitted in the year 2021. In that year, there was no admission test. Everyone was selected on the basis of their Secondary and Higher Secondary examination result. From later on, Administration opted for admission test. This is held every year at about July or august. The exam is held in the University campus. And all the students are asked to attend the counselling round otherwise they wouldn't be eligible for the upcoming lists.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Every faculty member in the department are highly educated . Most of them are currently doing their own research also. You can hardly complain about them. Some professors are extremely skilled, you will literally enjoy their classes. Exams are generally easy to moderate level. An internal assessment is also taken before the semester exam.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are generally offered by IITs, IISERs and other research institutes. Most institutes offer summer internship and a very few winter internship. In internship you will generally get exposure to different research labs and get inside of how it works and what are the future prospect of the work etc. IIT kanpur, JNCASR and few others give stipend to students, but don,t bother about it, try to learn something new from there.
Placement Experience :
Actually there is no placement after only graduation. This is a general course , not a technical one. Yes you can get placement offers after completing masters. The companies generally come in the last year of masters. One have to clear all the semester exams and have no backlogs. A good grade will always get yourself ahead of others. Edtech companies like Akash-byju's, Physicswallah, Pathfinder etc. and other Chemistry related companies like- Reliance etc. come to our campus. Some companies those who have particularly come for engineering students, allow chemistry masters students to appear in their selection procedure. The edtech companies generally offer starting from 6 lpa and other companies also offer similar. This amount vary company to company .The chemistry related companies will recruit you into Research and development section.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For every year there is a admission fee for approax 1500 all together. And you would also have to pay approax 60 every semester which is nothing other than exam fees. At the last semester, Additional 300 for convocation would be taken along side exam fee.
Campus Life :
Three major fests are organized by three different faculty in the span of February to April. Cultural and sports events are also held in those fests. Clubs or society for almost every filed like photography, drama, music, quiz are there in the campus. There are two libraries departmental which is exclusive for the subject related books and Central library where you can find books in any field. You can literally sit there hour long and study at your own. Wifi is also there in the campus.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
