- Faculty teaching is good. And helpful too. Clarifys doubts perfectly and they were well experienced.
- Infrastructure is good. Recently utkarsh bhavan is constructed. It is damn good with great infrastructure
- Campus Life is good at night time also. Good friends and good environment.
Dislikes
- Main academic building is old so it is somewhat not good in condition.
- Outside the campus is not a safe place here in durgapur.
Remarks :
No need of any interview to join the college. But there is an entrance exam which is Jee Main exam. So hand written test is needed to join this college. First you should qualify the jee mains exam. After getting the rank you will choose some preference of the colleges. Then they will allot you seat according to closing ranks
Course Curriculum Overview :
Iam interested in core field. And especially mechanical. Most of the faculty are old that means they are well experienced. Good in teaching and etc . They are friendly too. Their qualifications are PhD most. For mid semester the paper is moderate but for end semester exams the difficulty level is very high.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship till now as I'm still second year. For 3rd year students the intern opportunities are well and good. But cgpa should be above 7 and should have good communication skills.
Placement Experience :
For mechanical, most the companies said that the eligibility of students is above 7 cgpa for campus interviews. Reliance recently came and gave intern offer for some 3rd year students. 78% is the placement percentage for mechanical this year.average package for mechanical is 11 lakh. After this I'm thinking to get a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fee I pay for this college is 123000. The tution fee is 41000 per semester and mess fee is 20000 per semester. The fee structure depends on the caste and income. My parents income is above 1lakh and below 5lakh so my fee structure is in this way. For below 1lakh tution fee is 20000 per sem and mess fee is same for all. Caution money is paid only once that is 5000. For above 5 lakhs income per semester the tution fee is 80000. No lab fee is involved .
Campus Life :
Fests are conducted mostly in even semester. Recstacy recently happened in February last week. And aarohan is going to happen in March ending. E summit aslo happend in March. In sports also it is good. Recently sports fest is also conducted and it is grand successful. Clubs are many in this college. Students do many projects and they are well in their respective domains in the clubs and societies for the departments too.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is moderate. Everyday nonveg is available. But evening snacks are not provided. Menu is one aloo curry everyday and dal too. Roti too . Registration process is go to sb collect and there we will pay and complete our mess registration process. No need of a room or pg . Hostel is good in the college itself.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
