Likes
- The college campus and atmosphere is very good very student friendly. The library is very big and good for the students to study.
- The facility of the colleges very good lift is available for all the students and teachers there is stadium for sports activity for the students. The laboratory are very modern and updated and very large capacity for students.
Dislikes
- The college is still building, it's not completely done .
- The college location is not very near to the High road, you have to walk about 10 to 15 miniutes for reaching rali station or taking bus .
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose the college were in the time of COVID the placement ratio of the college was very higher than the other colleges. The best salary of placement is higher equivalent to the others and reasonable. All of the teachers are very helpful. The teachers guide the students to be successful in interview written tests for any placement. There are not many bad things I think this college has the bad thing that I only found is the location of the college is not very well connected to the high road you have to work about 10 minutes to get on the high road and the college is still building and spreading all of the work hasn't done completely but that doesn't hurt the atmosphere of campus it is very good I like it very much.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college offers diplomas in b.tech and mtech all three degrees. I chose civil engineering for this college because the rate of placement was very high during the covid 19 situation. Where the other colleges are filled to make any placement for Civil engineers this college did not. The professors and the faculty members always take very much care of the students the laboratories of the colleges are very clean and very good all the instruments are available there and there are enough instruments for 60 students capacity in one class. Exams are on time every semester and all the exam rooms are covered with CCTV. The cost of study is not very high this is very reasonable for the nongovernment mental colleges. The library fees are included in the study fees so you don't have to pay another extra amount to collect books there is a long period for returning books to the library. All of the eligible Government and nongovernmental scholarships are available to our college.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, there are many internship offers I have got. I am currently taking an internship at IBM. Many companies offer intensive in our colleges like IBM, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Pinnacle, Oracle, L&T, etc. Most of the internships while stipends and experience certificates are given after the internship. Most of the internships are related to courses.
Placement Experience :
As I said earlier the placement was very very good last year when COVID hit the world. Always there is job opportunity for every student last year no students lived behind everyone got their campus placement and there is a training and placement cell in our college the teachers are very helpful to make you grooming you for the placement and making you ready for the job of opportunities. I am from Civil so last year in campus placement the highest package for Civil Engineering was 12th lacs per annum and the average package was 5 lakh as per the company and profiles offered. Above 95% of the students get placements every year from the college.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very good there is a library on the rope top lift is available. The library has a big hall room to read and study there. Librarians are always there to keep silent and help the students to study harder in the library. The campus is very helpful all the students are very good. I did not face any kind of ragging or physical assault on the campus or anyone near the college. There is a ragging cell on our campus if you face any kind of ragging you can report it there and it will be very much helpful to you to solve the matter. There is a big stadium on our campus it is designed for football and volleyball there is a big badminton ground on our campus the sports activities are always there. Boys and girls hostels are available there the fees of the hostel are very minimal the food quality of the canteen is very good the menu has very variety of cuisine and you can easily find many paying guests and rooms within a small distance from the college.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
