Good Placement, infrastructure and location that's why I choose college. I had given Jee mains examination to get admission in this institute. JOSAA counselling happens after clearing jee mains admission then after we take direct admission into this. Any interview is not required for admission
I have chosen this course because of the JOSAA counselling seat allotment. Faculties are highly qualified but most teacher teaching methods are not good. They are not interested to teach. They only read PPT and leave class.Exams are conducted after every 2 months.Difficulty level of the exam is moderate . There is no hike fee policy in our college. Total cost to study is 6-7 lakhs including mess fess . You can get fee waiver on the basis of your family income. Various scholarships are also there such Swami Vivekananda scholarship
Internship situation is not good in our college.Few of the students around 15-20 percent get the internship from college. Accenture, Microsoft came for internship. Various projects happens in our college.
Placements are good in our college.Even in core branches placements are very good. The eligibility criteria for placement is 7 CGPA or above without any backlogs. The highest placement for this year was of 70 lpa and the average package of our college is 12 lpa . 80-85 percent students get placement.
There are several fests that happens in our college. 2 of main fests are Recstacy and Aarohan they are conducted in March and April. Lots of books are available in the library.libraries are fully air conditioned. Sports and extracurricular are not good in our college.Their are many clubs in our college like CCA , Robocell,Recursion. The food quality is not good. When we come to college then registration is done.
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
