Remarks :
I have been admitted to this college via jee mains rank ..... And it is an institute of national importance so you really need to score well in jee mains and then sit for josaa counselling to get a seat here.....The college is really good... The seniors are quite helpful although the professors are strict overall everyone helps you to upgrade your skills and your academics.....there are a lot of clubs which you can join and pursue your hobbies and nonetheless there is an excellent coding culture here ..... Overall it will be a very good experience with all the engineering pressure and fun and fests... Hope you liked my review and that this helps whoever finds
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am from a mechanical engineering background so the curriculum is a bit pressurized and strict overall here....there are various scholarships for economically weaker students and girls students as well and also for the students having ST category...There is a dedicated cell that helps the ST students get through the various scholarships and avail them
Internships Opportunities :
I am in the second year so I haven't yet opted for any but I will be eligible for an internship after 6 th sem and companies will start interviewing us from 5 th sem and 6 th sem itself....I don't have any more knowledge about this till now
Placement Experience :
There are a lot of campus placements happening for both core and non-core people ..... Companies like JPMC and pWc Tata Steels....etc come for placement ....Jindal steels and companies like John Deerie and many others visit the campus and the campus placements are about 85 percent
Campus Life :
There are a lot of clubs including coding club dancing club art club music club and many others.....I have opted for a hostel so the hostel charges are 5000 per semester and mess charges are 19000 per semester

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
