I'm a Automotive Enthusiast. So I've a lot of interest to know about car's, trucks, buses. That's why I enrolled in this course. I am following my passion. You need to appear Wbjee or Jee mains to got admission in this college. Otherwise you must have Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology in 12th. My 12th percentage is 87%.
Our course includes Theory and Practical classes. Practical classes are most important. Because this field is maximum based on Real-life working. Faculties are too good. They help evey students. Specially our hod sir is very helpful. He helps everyone and moreover our faculties are also very helpful. Their teaching methods are very good and easily acceptable. Scholarship options are also available in this course. You can got govt and private both scholarships. And fees structure is value for money. They provides good facilities in this package.
Yes I applied for internship at Bharat Benz, Mercedes Benz research and development, Volkswagen India etc. In second year college doesn't provides you internship. You've to try your own . But in 3rd year they provides .
Our college has a proper T&P cell. They provides proper guidance for Training, internships and placement from 3rd year. And the placement of our department is good. Avarage package is 4.5 lakhs per annum. Some placement are really very good like 5.5 lpa.
Campus Life is good but not very much. Our campus is situated in a good place where transportation is very good. Our college organizes cultural fest, fresher's every year. Otherwise there are too many programs held in our college like Holi function, Durga Puja function, Bengali new year celebration etc. There are a good amount of club's also in college. Like Dancing, debate, recitation, singing etc. I i tell about hostel, I'm a hosteller. Hostel facility is not so good. Many students are disappointed with those facilities. Hostel is placed beside college ground and under the balcony of ground. There is issues in hostel food. Sometimes quality & taste of food decreases.
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
