- I like the practical classes we do. Skill based learning. Plant trees and extra social and sports activities.
Dislikes
- I don't like the result process. As they circulate it very late
- And the attendance process is very strict. And they don't give holidays easily.classes And program collide with each other .
Remarks :
The campus is a big and very comfy environment. I came to know about this campus from one of my teachers and did some sort of research. I found this uni has a department of Technology in it for agricultural engineering the course which I wanted. The process was a little time-consuming as there was a problem in the payment section. After wbjee, they take Admission based on your general rank . My wbjee rank was 7560. Recently placement section has been improving. After I took Admission here I came to know the syllabus is based on the GATE syllabus so it's easier to Crack the gate the rank of GATE from this university is very impressive. New technology building is in process and it will approximately take 2 years to complete this. The hostel is good but the workers are fewer for cleaning purposes.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Just an environment and tech obsession took me here to this course. Uni was established in the year 2001 and technology faculty was established in 2005 in this campus. There are three faculties technology, agriculture and horticulture. Teaching methods are good teachers are nice but strict too..attendance is the big matter here. exams are usually on time but sometimes for certain circumstances the exams may be delayed or postponed. The exam the all based on your class notes and understanding. The level is all upon your understanding Fees are moderate 13100 and two quote students 7500. University scholarships are provided.
Placement Experience :
Recently heard placement cell is improving. Don't know much but I p to Crack Gate and get a good IIT do Mt and then get placed that's it going for mainly competitive examinations. Recently 4 of our seniors were selected as junior assistant managers in IDBI bank. Recently 1 month back placement and news.
Campus Life :
Fest names are changed every year. It happen in Feb or March. It depends on on exam seasons. There is a central library and library cards are provided. You can Borrow books after 14 days if you want to keep that book for a little longer you need to renew it otherwise fine will be imposed. The whole year some or the other sports are organised. Students go to other states for tournaments Clubs are sports , dance, singing, art,drama and many more clubs students run these clubs on their own and uni findings Hotels are good but cleaning workers are less it should be increased mess food is good non veg and veg options are available Bengali style cooking chicken fish egg paneer Pulao grand meal is provided once in a month. Rooms are alloted when you do your admission you need to tick options for a hostel it is very affordable here. It's included in your admission fees only.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.

Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
