Remarks :
We are residents of India which is an agriculture-based country. 16% of GDP of our country is contributed by Agricultural. So it is a most growing sector which can bring a great opportunity for us. Admission is done to my university by the merit list of HS board of physics chemistry and biology. Only 1% of top students can get admission every year to my university. Also, it has seats for cbsc and icsc board and Though Aieeaug entrance exam also.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Agriculture is the most growing sector in India which can bring so much opportunity for us. All professors are well-educated and best teaching skills. Every subject is practical based. It is the only university in West Bengal that is ICAR-affiliated. There are a total of 8 semesters in the 4-year course. Every semester has tow exam mid term and end term with viva and practical exam. Every semester there is a semester fee of 5900. All meritorious students are provided university merit scholarships and with all govt scholarships.
Placement Experience :
Every year many Ngo companies and bank officials come for campus placement like Pradhan, prasari, idbi, and SBI. Every company gave 750k-850k on an average per annum. From 4th year MSc and PhD at least 35-40 students get job opportunities from campus placement.
Campus Life :
There are hostel facilities for all students. They are provided room electricity and water free of cost. The only charge is taken for meals ( breakfast -night) 3000 /month. There are all types of club sports (football, volleyball, cricket, gymnastics) and cultural clubs ( Drama, art, literature, song, dance).

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
