Optional hostel accommodation is available for boys and girls. The annual charge, including lodging and mess, is INR 1,54,000 to INR 1,92,000. These indicative fee figures use 2026 data, so applicants should confirm the approved amount through bmsit.ac.in before joining.

BE Admission Process

For KCET admission, students register with KEA, upload their documents and arrange their preferred colleges and branches during centralised online counselling at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. KEA considers the applicant’s rank and the applicable reservation roster while assigning seats.

Applicants choosing the COMEDK route need a valid COMEDK UGET rank. They take part in centralised counselling through comedk.org, and students from any Indian state may participate.

For management quota, BMS Educational Trust checks whether the student has secured the required 60% in 10+2. Eligible applicants receive an allotment letter directly from the trust and do not need an entrance examination score.

Steps to Apply for BE

  1. Eligible Karnataka domicile students should register for KCET 2027 at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Applicants seeking the all-India route should apply for COMEDK UGET 2027 at comedk.org.
  2. Take the selected entrance examination and obtain the rank card.
  3. During KEA or COMEDK online counselling, add BMSIT and the desired engineering branch to the preference list.
  4. Confirm the allotted seat online and submit the acceptance fee within the stated period.
  5. Bring the original documents to the BMSIT Yelahanka campus on the reporting date printed in the allotment letter.

Management quota applicants may contact BMS Educational Trust on 080-26611636 or at contact@bmsetadmission.org. A student should make no payment until the trust provides a written allotment letter on its official letterhead.
