for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
The good thing that i liked about college was that its fees is very less compared to others also the placements are decent. The bad thing about college is it is very far from the main city and it is difficult to find nearby good areas. The admission process is simple either with jee or cget college entrance exam syllabus is same cget is easy to crack followed by counselling.
Read Full ReviewEligibility criteria mostly depends on the company's requirements and if college is considered we just have to maintain a cgpa above 7 to sit in company placements and this is easy to maintain. Accenture, Infosys, JP Morgan, TCS, and many other companies select students for placement here. Highest package as far as I have seen went upto 40 lpa offered by Amazon on the year 2022-23 and average can go upto 6 lpa. This year more than 85% are placed in good companies with highest of 16 lpa. I plan to take a package upto 10 lpa and then work for that company for atleast 3 years and later planning to get higher studies by qualifying GATE.
My reasons for choosing this college were : *Neighbour state *No better colleges in my state *Good placements in the year I joined the college *Reputed and one of the top colleges in the neighbour states No gd or pi for admission. Admission was through JEE marks and college entrance exam (cget).
Read Full ReviewPlacement is decent. But for covid 19 batch we got more sales and marketing kind of placement. But there were company hiring such as Accenture, Cognizant, LTiMindtree, LTTS, Tech Mahindra, etc Even some good startup company like Persistant Systems, Sanmina, Ncompass, Digit Insurance, PwC etc.
The engineering fees was less compared to its competitors. Better placement records as compared to other high ranked NIRF college in Bhubaneswar. Average package is less but overall placement rate is better.
Read Full ReviewMostly eligibility Criteria for campus placements is 70% overall score in academics. But some companies also look for 60% candidates. So iit is better if you have 75% and above in academics. Tcs, L&T, cognizant, accenture, tech mahindra, and many more companies visited. Every year the placement percentage changes depending on the market situation. Cgu brings many good companies for the students. After the course completion they also share few companies links to apply.
College has a great name and I talked with many alumni students of the college they also said to take admission there. So I choose c.v. Raman Global University. For admission they have there own test. So I have give the test and passed it. After the test I passed the test and results were published. Many students can apply for admission from ojee also. The college test was not so tough but not so easy also. It totally depends on aptitude and 12th class subjects.
Read Full ReviewThe curriculum is okay. It mostly follows the AICTE-recommended curriculum for BTech. The faculty are well qualified and experienced in their fields (not all of them, but most are good). Almost all have a Doctorate or two in their subjects and enough industry experience. The teaching method varies from faculty to faculty and depends on the subject. Some older faculties tend to follow conventional methods, while most have adapted to using technologies for teaching. Mid-semester and End-semester exams are all timely, varying a few days from the schedule depending on whether the subject course has been completed and practicals all done. Mid-sems are relatively easier as they take up only half the syllabus, while End-sems may require some serious preparation and also carry more weightage.
I chose this college as it was in my neigbouring state and one of my older cousins was already studying there. Another reason was that I didn't score well in JEE Mains and thought, why not study here as it's not half bad. It also had a decent average placement, similar to other private colleges in Bhubaneswar and my state. I definitely would not have chosen this college if it had any higher fees as it does now. You can get admission either through your JEE score or their college entrance exam. There are no GDs or PIs for admission in BTech courses. The entrance exam syllabus is similar to 12th Science PCM and JEE.
Read Full ReviewThe placements are college is quite good. Almost 80% percent of the students gets placed every year. I get admission in my college through jee mains in which i have scored 80 percentile. Apart from that college also take their own exam for admission that is quite easy to qualify. As far as i know there are two ways from which you can get admission here - jee main, cv raman entrance test.

Addmission is based on both manegement quato and merit based. But there is no group discussion and interview round. Merit based addmission is based on your JEE rank or their own college exam that is CGET.
Read Full ReviewCriteria are who got 60% or above they can be eligible for the placement process. Visited recruiters are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, Josh Technology. Highest Package is 47.5 LPA, and the average package is 6-10 LPA as per the company and profiles offered.
