NSUT B.Tech Admission 2026

NSUT B.Tech Selection Criteria 2026

NSUT does not conduct any interview or group discussion for B.Tech admission. JAC Delhi prepares the seat allotment using JEE Main rank, category, domicile quota, and branch preferences.

• 85% Home State quota seats are only for Delhi-region candidates.
• 15% Other State quota seats are available to candidates from across India.
• If two candidates have the same rank position, the tiebreaker uses higher marks in Mathematics, then Physics, then Chemistry. After that, the lower ratio of incorrect-to-correct answers overall and subject-wise is checked before the same rank is given.
• JAC Delhi may hold up to 4 regular rounds, followed by an Upgradation Round and an online Spot Round if seats are still vacant.

Note: In the JAC Delhi 2025 final round for the general category outside-Delhi quota, CSE Artificial Intelligence closed at rank 5,398, Computer Engineering closed at rank 8,019, and Biotechnology closed at rank 19,843. Delhi-region candidates get the HS quota benefit, where closing ranks are much more relaxed. Students should check the latest round-wise cutoffs at jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in.

How to Apply for B.Tech at NSUT?

1. Take JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 and secure a valid rank.
2. Register at jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in and pay the INR 1,500 registration fee.
3. Add college and branch choices in preference order during choice filling.
4. Check the allotment result after each round on the JAC Delhi portal.
5. Accept the allotted seat online and pay the seat acceptance fee within the given time.
6. Visit NSUT with original documents for physical verification on the notified reporting date.

NSUT M.Tech Admission 2026

NSUT M.Tech Admission 2026 first considers students with valid GATE scores. If seats remain available, eligible non-GATE applicants may be considered through the NSUT written test. The university offers 291 M.Tech seats in 17 specialisations.

NSUT MBA Admission 2026

NSUT MBA Admission 2026 is managed by the Common Management Admission Committee, known as CMAC. This committee conducts MBA admissions for DTU, NSUT, and IGDTUW. Out of 420 MBA seats available through CMAC, NSUT offers 75 seats.

MBA selection uses CAT or MAT scores first, followed by a Personal Interview conducted by CMAC.

NSUT MBA Eligibility Criteria 2026

Minimum scores for consideration are CAT 30 percentile for General, 20 percentile for OBC/EWS, and 16 percentile for SC/ST. For MAT, the minimum is 50 percentile for General, 40 percentile for OBC/EWS, and 30 percentile for SC/ST. These are eligibility thresholds and not final selection cutoffs.

NSUT MBA Selection Criteria 2026

CMAC first shortlists students through CAT or MAT scores. CAT gets the first preference, and MAT is used if seats remain vacant. Shortlisted students appear for the Personal Interview. Final merit gives 70% weightage to the CAT/MAT score and 30% weightage to the interview.

• B.Arch: Admission is officially through JAC Delhi.
• B.Des: NSUT has a dedicated B.Des Admission Brochure 2026. Details such as UCEED or an equivalent national design exam should be checked from that brochure.
• BBA: Admission is conducted through CMAC using CUET UG scores.
• M.Sc and MA: NSUT releases separate 2026 admission brochures for these programs, so students should follow the admission process stated in those brochures.

NSUT Scholarships 2026

NSUT students can apply for merit-based and income-based support through the CVSPK scheme. Eligible students may also use Delhi Government scholarship options.

• CVSPK Merit Scholarship: The top 5% of students in each academic year receive full tuition fee coverage.
• CVSPK Financial Welfare Scheme (FWS): Undergraduate students can get income-based fee help. Family income up to INR 2 Lakhs gets a 100% fee waiver. Income from INR 2 to 4 Lakhs gets a 50% waiver. Income from INR 4 to 6 Lakhs gets a 25% waiver. Income from INR 6 to 8 Lakhs gets a 10% waiver.
