Not that like big universities but You will enjoy in this university with some extra curricular activities like societies like photography an all. The library of university is so good u have seperate cabin for own to study .

Life at AUD is not so great but not very bad either. Fests are conducted which are not so great because no artist is invited to perform in the campus. But, the Diwali Melas are great, there are stalls for food and beverages, thrift stores put-up by students, stalls for temporary henna tattoos and hair wraps and thread braids along with a DJ. There is a variety of societies to become a part of like Kalakriti- the art society, Odori- the dance society, 90's kids- the theatre ensemble, Alankaar- the music society, the History Society. Society of Visual Culture for photography and Inara- the fashion society. All of these societies are run by students themselves along with a faculty convenor who acts as a link between the cultural society and the administration. Also, there is no official fresher's party or an official farewell, just the convocation ceremony. The library is equipped with all the resources that a student from any course might need and there are 3 computer labs in total.

There are various student run socities expanding from co-cirriculars, course oriented, political wings and government-aided like NCC and NSS. AUD doesn't organise any fests, if they are arranged, it's through students. There are also sports team such as girl's football running in the uni with interactive groups like tails of AUD for dogs of uni and humans of ambedkar.

We have multiple society clubs and they are very much active , and various functions and programme are conducted to engage the students in other extra curricular activities and it also helps to develop some sort of skills so yeah .

One thing which i don't like much about our campus is that it is very small. Actually, my university shared it's ground with an another university IGDTUW and because of only that students fits in the campus. There is no facility of hostel for boys, only girls have this facility. Talking about Food in campus, we have two hygienic canteens which provides food items at low rates.

Campus life is good although the campus is small. Classrooms are okay. Some have working ACs while some don't. Library does have most of the books needed although readings are mostly uploaded on Google Classroom. There are multiple Societies as well like debate, dance, literature, economic etc. All Societies are good and people are friendly. There is annual diwali fest and multiple choices of trips every year too. Trips are mostly organized by a group of seniors.

Currently AUD isn't holding any fests, but we did have a diwali mela on 28th October 2024 which was really awesome. It had food stalls, DJ and societies with their respective stalls. There is a large variety of books available in the library of AUD and for a book lover, AUD has the best library. The classrooms are well equipped with large televisions and whiteboards/ blackboards. The chairs are comfortable aswell. Some of the classes even have Air Conditioners. Aud has a wide range of societies you can take part in, like there are so many societies that you'll even lose the count of it. It also have NCC (National cadet corps) which provides with certifications which can help in future. Other than that there are sports related societies aswell for badminton volleyball, basketball etc. Some of the well working societies in AUD are Ethos (sociology society) and Alankaar (music society). They have their insta handle aswell. Social groups are SFI (left wing) and ABVP (right wing).

Their is no such college life here as the societies and clubs which are present mostly don't function the ones that do are of debating, football and music although the music one functions only sometimes other societies too exist but after covid they are dead.

The infrastructure is also pretty good. A library facility is provided and it's also very nice. Mostly all needed books are available. Social life is also fascinating. There are study groups like hsc who work towards the welfare of students. Fests and competitions are held frequently.

Life at AUD is mesmerising it vibes with you people are nice here and also the crowd is cool. You can often find me performing gigs with my friends playing guitar and singing. Cricket ground, volleyball court and basketball court are here to do anything that interests you. AUD organises fest every year many of them are El Verano, Bollywood day, Diwali and Holi fest. There are various no of societies like dance, singing, literature and drama. Hostels are only allowed for girls because of the sharing with indium. Classrooms are fully AC and projectors are there for you too. Life at AUD is enriching with different flavours come and have a taste of your own.
