Campus life is pretty fun. We have a student activity center on campus where the students can come and participate in recreational activities such as volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis, etc.

We have 3 fests, Tech fest names as Wiessenaire,Cultural fest named as Alma Fiesta and another fest E-Summit.They are mostly conducted in the month of February. Various types of books are available in library and classrooms were very neat and adequate. For sports , every year GC is conducted and there are various available courts such as Basketball,TT,Hockey,Cricket ground ... There are various societies which are run by ourselves such as Clix(Photography Club),Nakshatra (Astro Club)... and many more.

In the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, we have all kinds of clubs and are divided into three societies, the sports society, the socio-cultural society, and the tech society. The infrastructure is quite good and you get all the freedom.

Social life is fantastic, our rank is improving in inter IIT , every facility are improving, auditorium is constructed that is fantastic , there is enough clubs, tech , or social or sports. Food quality is okayish , every month we get special dinner in mess. And there is bhaktivedanta institute near iit so they organise various function and we get dinner prasadam. Institute has shopping complex, restaurant, food plaza, nescafe, canteens in different building, they are quite cheaper. Amul icecream parlour , stationery shop . Everything is available in college.

We have 4 fests: Alma Fiesta the Socio cult fest, wissenaire the tech fest, esummit the entrepreneurship fest and Ashwamedha the sports fest. All the books required are available in the library. The classrooms are high-end with all the facilities such as air conditioning, projectors, etc. Nearly all spirits are available. The swimming pool is under construction. We have a lot of societies in tech and culture. Neuromancer the Coding Society and the web and Design Society. Febs the finance society, risc robotics, nakshatra-astronomy. Cult: clix-Photography, cinewave- videography, dgang-dance, aaroh-music, kalakriti-fine arts. The hostels are all single room, well maintained with good and hygienic food. 18000 per sem. The menu has both veg and nonveg.

You know this is iit so it will be having a great socio-cultural practice, and so is here. There are 10 societies including singing dancing film making, art literature etc. I was in Cinewave the film-making society and currently in Abhivyakti the Hindi literature society. This year only we hosted our techno-management fest wissenaire for 3 days and dhvani Bhanushali was there for star night singing and dancing. Infrastructure is great for every branch there is a dedicated school and it's building. Hostels you will not get like here in any iits as they are having single rooms with mess in the hostel only. Mess food is good as they focus more on health compared to taste, there is a special dinner every month, nonveg food is there 3 times a week. The only issue is the distance of schools from hostels. It's nearly 1.5 km on average and you must have a cycle for that.

As it is an IIT, the campus life is great, we have 4 fests, aswamedha- sports fest. Alma fiesta- cultural fest. Wissenaire- tech fest. E summit- entreprenural fest. And they are great. We have lots of societies and clubs. We have a student gymkhana, they manage everything, we elect our own secreteries. And its great. The only problem is the hostel food, the price for 1 semester is 18000. Which is cheap for both accomodation and food, but the food is not great, but the hostels are really good, single room for each student.

Our campus is well developed with an area of 976 acres. We have so many sports facilities in our student's activity center which consists of so many clubs and societies which are driven by student bodies. We have a good quality of hostels with good internet connection.

There is significant improvement in infrastructure in recent years. College have decent no.of socio cult clubs, societies, technical cluds, and sports facilities. One can experience a decent student life.

my college life is amazing . and i am very happy with it. my friend circle is so good . talkking abouut the fest. there are three fests which are conducted in the month of march or April. it is super exciting and cool. library is all the time well stocked and open for 24 hrs during the exam times. reading room is also present here in the administrative building itself. all types of sports u can see here and coaches are also present to teach u. yoga sessions are also there on Sunday morning in sac area. There are various clubs and societies also . for tech , sports and cult , different societies with their respective secretaries are present. i am a part of dancing society, dramatics society and fashion society.
