Ques. What is the Admission Procedure to MTech Program (Sponsored)?

Ans. Mere eligibility will not ensure a call for admission test and/or viva voce.

  • Depending on the number of applications received and the eligibility, a shortlist shall be prepared for a call for admission test and viva-voce in the respective departments.
  • Sponsored candidates must have a minimum of two years full-time work experience in a Govt./Semi-Govt. or reputed and recognized organisation in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.
  • A certificate ( from the Employer must be furnished.
  • The employer should also indicate that the candidate will not be withdrawn midway till the completion of the programme.

Ques. What is the Admission Procedure for a Self-Sponsored MTech Program?

Ans. The Admission Procedure is as follows,

  • Eligible candidates are advised to report to the office of respective Head of the Departments in time.
  • The selection will be made by the respective department based on 30% weightage in Class XII marks, 30% weightage on the qualifying degree marks and 40% weightage on the written admission test.
  • The minimum eligibility marks for selection shall be 40% in the written admission test.
