Campus Life:

Life at the campus was very good. Our college was surrounded by greenery and a good environment. My social life with my friends on campus was very good. But yes our infrastructure is little behind as compared to other NITs but overall it’s okay. Our main college Fest was EKARIKTHIN, it is held during February last week or March first week. It consists of 2 days and last year 2023 they took it for 3 days. I didn’t borrow books from the library, I used to borrow the books my roommate brought since he was from my same department. But the availability of the books is sufficient. Sports is good, but the turn up of students is less. Since most of them used to go home during sports day. There was a cultural secretary, and sports secretary where they ran the clubs. The hostel food was okay. After the new mess came. We the students, we complaint if we have any problem with the food since good food will result to having a positive day.

Hostel Facilities:

There are 16 hostels in NIT Nagaland equipped with proper Bathrooms and toilets Each room can accommodate around 2 to 3 students There is no provision for a single room in NIT NAGALAND. The Food is provided three times a day and there are also evening snacks before dinner every day. The quality of the mess food is above par The menu facilitates both veg food and nonveg food, Hygiene is maintained in the mess, and inspection is done every month Students are also asked for the mess food review every month. The hostel room is allowed by the college during physical verification.

Campus Life:

Campus life is really fun! The campus is really big nearly 200 acres so it's fun to walk around the Campus for evening walks. The Annual Fest conducted in NIT NAGALAND is called Ekarithin which happens in March for 2 to 3 days !!it is the biggest event of the college It has a lot to offer ranging from Gaming, Music, Dance, Cosplay, Food etc The Library is accessible to students once the ID card is issued at once, a student can borrow 4 books The book can be kept for a month and can be re-issued but if one fails to reissue he/she has to pay a fine of Rs 1 per day. The classroom is spacious so it can accommodate a large number of students with a 24×7 current supply. The Sports events are held from time to time. The college has Sports events such as Annual sports and fresher sports, and the students are also provided with sports equipment for their everyday pleasure !! The main sports event is the Inter NIT tournament once a year.

Campus Life:

Life at the campus is awesome. The nature over there is breathtaking. The diplomatic relations are good every time. There are various clubs. Cultural clubs, Technical clubs and Sports clubs. Each of the above has a General Secretary and Assistant General Secretary under each of them several clubs are followed. Coming to the hostel, 2 students are allocated a single room. They provide an almirah, a study table, and a chair. There will be common water refrigerators in every hostel. There are geysers as well as con bathrooms. There is plenty of space beside the hostel where you can cook on any occasion. The messy food is okay. If you adjust, then it's good and if you don't, you cook.

We have different festivals in the institute which have been classified into two categories (even & odd semester). For every semester we have Ekarikthin which is one of the biggest techno-cultural festivals. And for an odd semester, we have freshers' day, Tap to Tune, etc. We have a library and we have enough books but the sitting area is a bit small, the food quality is okay. On a rating of 5 which is conducted every month, they usually get (3.5-4.3) which is okay.

Ekariktine was the fest's name and it was conducted in March. For civil, we have a separate Library and it was good. For sports now they made big ground. We have different clubs like coding, Haruno cosplay, and others. The hostel was good but sometimes we faced difficulties because water was not available. Food quality was average. For veg menu was chapati, paneer, veg mix, French fries, rice, dal, pav baji, bread, and samosa. They fix the hostel building according to which year you were in.
